This peaceful site is a fantastic stopover for anyone wanting to get active in the bracing Finnish air, or equally anyone who wants to put their feet up on the lakeside beach and soak up the views. Fishing, hiking, golf, swimming and boating are all available within about five minutes’ drive, and if that’s all too much hassle for you, there’s a traditional sauna right on the beach for even more R&R.
The site guarantees a comfortable and cosy stay on spacious pitches shaded by trees. Spotlessly clean facilities and well-equipped kitchens, the informal café and shared barbecue hut make camping life as simple as possible, while the friendly team in reception are on hand to answer any queries and get your sightseeing schedule organised.
If you need to stock up on foodie bits and bobs, Kangasniemi village (five minutes’ drive) has a grocery store and supermarkets. Not into alfresco cooking? Gather up the kids and eat out in the village’s pizzerias and beach bars.
