What customers say
A tidy, well-kept park with roomy sites and obliging staff. Modern facilities include a handy shop. Guests loved the quiet vibe, great views and handy spot for exploring local beaches and sights. A few minor points: shower fees, road noise, and the odd queue at busy times.

Overall would come back, if in season only small shower block busy

Liked Lovely location, out of season so very quiet, showers toilets ok
Disliked Due to out of season shop closed most of the time, but that’s ok
Showers knew we had to pay which was fine, but very inconsistent temp wise, which when ure paying would expect slightly better

Liked I love this campsite. We had a fantastic welcome. Very clean and tidy site. Lovely shower/toilet block. The reception shop has all the necessities. The main camping field with electric hook up is so flat and well kept. There are lovely self catering cottages too but not stayed in them. Noise curfew in place because some of us aren’t raver’s anymore!. There is a walk down to Nolton Haven beach which is approximately 2.5k. You can join the coastal path from there. Newgale beach isn’t far away. Lovely pub Victoria Inn just down the road .

Disliked I would have hoped by paying additional for the shower that they would run at a consistent temperature. Unfortunately in 10 mins (£1 cost) I struggled to be under the water for longer than 40 seconds at a time as the water was going from boiling hot to freezing cold.
They also could have been cleaner (when I compare to other campsites I’ve stayed at).

Not much…

Liked Not much
Disliked Booked this site as advertised sea views, farm shop etc. The only view we got was the toilet block, bins and wash up, which we were a couple of feet from.
Farm shop laughable, just a couple of shelves selling “essentials” and a tango slush machine.
Literally tents pitched bang next to a fast road in a field.
Went to ask if there were amy other pitches available and was told that the owner was dealing with other complaints…I asked if he would come and see me to see if we could be moved but he never showed up.
Too busy selling his log bags for the fire pits…at £15 a time.
Not enough toilets/showers/wash up facilities for a pitch of this size.
Paid for two nights but only stayed one.
If you like peace, quality sites and views don’t be fooled, just a money making scheme in a field next to a fast main road.

From the manager: We are sorry you didn't enjoy your recent stay with us. In more than 6 years of running our small family campsite we have never received a 1/10 review, and given our average rating is 9.3/10, your review is most definitely contrary to other guests who have stayed with us. I must also correct you on a few comments which are factually incorrect; we sell bags of logs for £6.00 (not £15 as stated), we do not advertise having a farm shop (we advertise having a 'small shop with a few essentials' which our guests really love (we have never received a negative review about our small shop)), we offer pitches over two fields so guests have the option to pitch away from the road if they so wish, we do have stunning views across St Brides Bay which is evidenced by multiple reviews and uploaded pictures by guests, and 'Pitch 6' which you were allocated is loved by multiple guests for being private and near to the facilities. You were extremely aggressive to our staff on arrival, shouting and complaining about nearly everything possible - We do not tolerate any abuse or aggressive behavior towards our staff therefore we would not welcome your return to our site in the future. Unfortunately your review is not a true reflection of our small family campsite but instead a misleading vexatious response purely to cause annoyance and embarrassment sadly of yourself.

Liked Beautiful location, very nice owners! Very friendly and helpful. Prices are great, good value!
Disliked It was a bank holiday weekend so i was warned about the crowds. A few more toilets in that weekend would have been perfect. In the days before i never had to wait!
