Liked: Such a gem of a site! Sian was very friendly and game to greet us when we arrived which was a lovely touch. She gave us recommendations for local walks and attractions too. The site is really peaceful with wonderful views and is nice a quiet at night. The facilities are nice and clean and well stocked and there’s a nice communal kitchen/washing space with the option to buy farm fresh eggs. The bar area looks amazing and the beers there are lovely and local - the bar wasn’t open during our stay but Sian let us buy a couple of beers to enjoy in the van.
Disliked: There’s no general waste bins on site meaning you have to take your rubbish with you. This is by no means a deal breaker though as the site is gorgeous and there are recycling and dog waste bins. The bar only being fully open at the weekend is a shame but I understand why, we’ll just have to come at the weekend next time!

Liked: Views, quiet
Disliked: Lack of hot water in toilet and in washing facilities for £35 per night I think is a lot only place where hot water was available was in the shower which was good in fairness also no heater working in shower room.

From the manager: Thank you for taking the time to review here and on our other platforms. We try to be open and honest in our listing of our tiny site. We state our shower block is basic, has no heating nor hot water in the basins. The value and enjoyment of our site is not found in the toilet block. We are devastated that these points have destroyed your 1 nights stay and that you see no potential in our site to visit again in the future. To avoid your future dissatisfaction in other sites, we would suggest that you read the listing before booking, especially as you have a continental motorhome which lots of sites (including our own) do not accept.
