General
- Stylish, luxury glampsite in peaceful Vale of Glamorgan countryside
- A five-minute walk to Coed Hills Rural Art Space across fields
- Well-furnished tents, pamper parlour and sports on site; pub nearby
Fred’s Yurts at Coed is a bohemian canvas village located in a field in the Vale of Glamorgan, overlooking the River Severn estuary. These luxurious glamping tents all have an individual, arty decor with proper beds to keep everyone cosy.
Coed is within easy reach of Cardiff city centre, beaches along the South Wales coastline and (most importantly) in walking distance of a local pub and handy stores for stocking up on supplies. At neighbouring Coed Hills Rural Art Space (five minutes’ walk), you can take part in weekly workshops on sustainable living and have a mooch around the forest gardens.
Top-notch facilities at this stylish glamping site include hot showers, composting loos and a pamper parlour so you all stay looking your best – there are charging facilities there for all your devices too. Everything is illuminated at night by festoon lighting, and there are recycling points to take your rubbish.
The kids (and adult kids) have plenty of space to run around safely, and families can challenge each other to table tennis, rounders and cricket. If there’s an odd rainy day, borrow some board games and hunker down in your tent.
