Powered concrete and grass campervan site (no awning, small)

Liked: This very welcoming pub provides a lovely little campsite for 5 campers/ caravans on hard standing. There is grass to sit out at the side of each pitch and electric hookup is included in the price. The toilets and showers are brand new and immaculate. We had a lovely meal in the pub, Sunday lunch. The situation of the site, basically in the middle of the island, is great for visiting anywhere on Anglesey. All in all a great site, we will definitely visit again.

Liked: The toilets and showers were some of the best we have seen. Small site, but small is beautiful in my book! Great pub and good beers. Food is also great, especially the dragon pie. I will definitely try this at home!

Liked: Pitches were big and well spaced with power. Very quiet and peace. Food and welcome at the pub was excellent. Unfortunately we had to leave early to get the ferry so couldn’t have the breakfast which was on offer. Facilities were very clean and new.

Local attractions

Diving, snorkelling or a game of golf? This enticing combination is all down at Bull Bay’s little cove (10 minutes’ drive) and the Bull Bay Golf Club (10 minutes) – for golf games by the sea. While you're scoping out all the spots by the sea, those of you who like surfing, swimming or sandcastle building will want to pay attention to the family-friendly Lligwy beach (20 minutes)… for boat trips to Puffin Island or family fishing trips, Beaumaris (30 minutes)… and for a pebble beach and plenty of fishing opportunities, Moelfre (20 minutes). When you’ve had your way with the coastal path, Parys Mountain (15 minutes) has plenty in the way of more hikes, with a large copper mine, crater and other cool landscapes for scenery. With all the focus on the ocean, the Holyhead Maritime Museum (30 minutes) will let you in on local tales of pirates and shipwrecks. Then, to chew on other historic sites as you go around, the Porth Wen Brickworks (10 minutes) are an abandoned Victorian brickworks and Penrhyn Castle (35 minutes) has a walled garden, woodland hide and a railway museum.

Pitches

A cable measuring at least 15 metres is needed for the electric hook-ups.

Admission

Admission is only permitted after registering at reception.
At least one of the party members must be aged 18 or over.

Safety

Barbecues are permitted but must be raised off the ground and attended by an adult at all times.

Changes to your holiday

Bookings cannot be amended within 7 day(s) of arrival.

General

Bookings must not be for more than 28 consecutive nights.

Vehicles

Commercial vehicles (vehicles used for work-related purposes, carrying goods or fare-paying passengers) and sign-written vehicles are not permitted on site.

Discount cards and gift vouchers cannot be applied to bookings made via Pitchup.com.

Dogs

Dogs must be kept on leads and supervised at all times.

Vehicles

The car is only included in the rate if you are travelling with a touring caravan or a tent. Cars are not permitted when travelling with a motorhome/campervan.

The management reserves the right to deny access or terminate the stay of those guests whose behaviour is deemed unsuitable. No refunds will be offered.
