Powered concrete and grass site

Liked: This is a great site, a warm welcome and brilliant customer service from the lovely owner, very clean and roomy facilities, loads of wildlife - I saw a red squirrel! - and great space for kids. Flat hardstanding pitches with a nice big piece of grass next to each. Handily located for the whole island and for visiting all the Anglesey megaliths. Lots of little touches that we really appreciated, like the list of takeaways on the notice board.

Disliked: The site would be 100% bliss apart from the noise from the clay pigeon shooting next door. It was happening on Wednesday afternoon when we arrived then started up again on Friday morning and we couldn't take it and left early. I feel so sorry for the people who run the site as they put so much effort into making it nice, but obviously can't do anything about the noise of gunshots.

Liked: Another fab stay at Presaddfed. This was are 2nd stay this year with our grandson. Ideally located for the beach about 15 mins drive away. Games on site to play, and of course the fairy garden. Showers ,toilets & washing up facilities are spotless. Staff are so friendly. All pitches are level.Fab little shop on site for coffees, sweets etc. Would highly recommend.

Liked: Quiet family friendly site, good shower and toilet facilities, free fire pits and little tuck shop, games for the children. Sheltered location great for exploring the coast.

Disliked: Sheltered spot in the trees meant there were a lot of bugs and wasps.

Liked: Absolutely brilliant campsite full of fun and exploring for the kids, not far from the local beaches we had a trip to Rhosneigr beach for bbq and kayaking which was lovely, the site is spotless the showers and toilets are so clean the lady was in cleaning after every use and the shower was just right not too hot for kids and not cold at all, 2 sinks for washing up which were ideal, the fairy glen i think is brill for kids to explore we took our son a few times and he loved just walking around looking at everything, we used the shop a few times for logs, nice fresh coffee and sweets for my son great prices and lovely little shop, the log burners that you supply is a great idea we had ours burning every night with marshmallows for my son that made our evenings extra special, the little circle in the middle of the pitches is great for the kids as they all gather in the middle to play and make new friends and parents can keep an eye on them at the same time as relaxing, over all a brilliant little site and we will definitely be visiting again 👌🏻

Local attractions

If you’ve got a thing for high-action activities, you’ll find yourself with a fair few options. Horse riding can be tracked down in around 20 minutes, but if you’d rather set out to see what’s happening out on the big blue, RIB rides (25 minutes’ drive) and coasteering (15 minutes) are on hand for wildlife spotting and more adrenaline. Things are just as splendid up on the clifftops along the Isle of Anglesey Coastal Path (10 minutes) – over the 130 miles, you might pass sea arches, sand dunes and salt marsh, but it's up to you how far you want to go. Stop to rummage through the rockpools at Trearddur Bay beach (15 minutes), and cool off with a dip if you've worked up a sweat on your hike. If you’re feeling like a quieter day, there’s a golf course (15 minutes) for peaceful days of putting, or the Ucheldre Centre (15 minutes) runs arts and crafts events for the creative minded among you.
