Camping pod (pet friendly)
Liked: Lovely set up, beautiful views, quiet, close to beach. Facilities were clean and tidy.
Disliked: Previously when I've stayed in pods there has been two single beds with a foam mattress, that was the only thing missing from these really.

Liked: Firstly the receptionists. They were super friendly and helpful when we arrived and also were amazing when I upgraded to a pod. Great location, train station next to the campsite, beach a couple minutes walk, sister site amenities available. Beautiful looking and thankfully very quiet! Great views of both the mountains and the sea. Heating issue in pod solved fairly quickly (in about 6 hrs after report) Lots of drinking water taps. Good supply of bins 4 Ladies toilets, 3 showers in a heated block. Good mix of EHU, Non EHU, camper plots and 10 pods. Would definitely come back!
Disliked: This is the worst bit as both receptionists I met were lovely. First issue: rubbish left from previous campers, which the (groundsman I think?) saw as he walked us over to the pitch. He made no attemp to pick it up, and he saw the obvious campfire that had been had by previous campers which is ironically right on the pitch where my tent was meant to be and "covered" up by two picnic tables. 2nd issue: shower plug holes are not cleaned. Full of gunk and hair, same with sink plugholes too. Whilst the toilet block was ok, it badly needs updating. Showers are push button and only last about 30 seconds. Lots of black mold in one shower. No shelf in shower. Area outside toilet block floods when it rains. So many little bits of rubbish left in the grass :( Whilst the pods are solid, and I was so grateful to upgrade one, they are starting to show their age with mushrooms growing from a couple of the pods, and some steps looking fragile or missing

Liked: The site had pre designated camp location this helped make sure you had enough space for everything you needed.
Disliked: The camp was very noisy with loudmusic through diffent tents the sites has no restrictions on music or sound. There should be like normal camp sites no noise after 11pm and no music.

Camping pod (pet friendly)
Liked: Good clean facilities. Spacious pitches, but small enough site that felt child friendly as could keep eye on them at all times. 5 mins walk from the beach. Could also use other amenities on adjacent sites. Used the swimming pool with a group of the kids. Not too far a drive from Barmouth Beach. Honestly couldn’t fault it. We stayed in a pod which was spacious and friends pitched up with tents. All happy with our experiences.
Disliked: Nothing.
