And if all that sounds good? There’s more... The site’s in a spectacular rural setting (see pics) with plenty of green space and colourful flowers all around. It’s a couple of minutes’ walk from its nearest village, Rhydyclafdy, the local pub and the acclaimed Twnti Seafood restaurant too.
Have a drink or bite in the village then make your way towards the coast for walks: local beach Llanbedrog is under 10 minutes’ drive away, while the wide sandy shores of Abersoch are 15. For market town times, Pwllheli and its shops are 10 minutes away.
Before ambling to other attractions, tap into tips from park owners Laura and Dylan, who are happy to share highlights of the Llyn Peninsula with guests. The whole area is also a fave of canines and well-behaved dogs are most welcome on site (as long as they’re kept on leads).
And to please the humans? Pitches all come with electricity and full access to the facilities, including a communal green and a play area for leisurely hours. Showers, toilets and a launderette take care of the essentials, while a washing-up area and chemical disposal are some of the other handy amenities here.

Follow the A497 towards Nefyn.
In the village of Efailnewydd turn left onto the B4415.
In the centre of the Rhydyclafdy (after bridge) turn left onto Lon Pin.
Follow the road out of the village: the site entrance is on the left and signposted.

Ty Cynan Caravan and Camping is close to several beaches, including Llanbedrog and its colourful beach huts within 10 minutes’ drive and Pwllheli and Abersoch each within 15. Along the peninsula, recommendations include Porth Neigwl or Hell’s Mouth (15 minutes); the National Trust managed Porthdinllaen and its Ty Coch Inn (also 15 minutes), and the sands of Aberdaron and Porth Oer, both 25 minutes away.
For families, there’s the Amgueddfa Forwrol Llyn Maritime Museum at Nefyn (10 minutes), rabbit farm or paintballing at Llanystumdwy (20 minutes) and go-karting, archery, wakeboarding and Segway riding at Glasfryn Parc, also within 20 minutes’ drive. History fans have the National Trust’s Plas yn Rhiw and Porth y Swnt, 15 and 25 minutes away, or the Iron Age hillfort of Garn Boduan, overlooking Nefyn within 10 minutes.
There are enough walks in the area and around the peninsula to keep you busy for weeks, including the famed coastal path and the many public footpaths within easy reach of the village; ask Laura and Dylan for their recommendations.
