What customers say
Stunning spot, peaceful, great pitches with fire pits. Loved the lake, canoeing, and walks. Owners super friendly, facilities clean & good value. Just be aware of the narrow access road – some thought toilets/showers needed an upgrade.

Unpowered grass tent, campervan or trailer tent site
Liked Literally a cute Hideaway in the Hills! Good for kids, with the forests and the little lake.
It is isolated, but it is a hideaway...it's part of the charm.
If camping, ask for the Penthouse!
Disliked The facilities to people capacity ratio isn't the greatest.

Outstanding beauty
Powered grass tent, campervan or trailer tent site
Liked This honestly was an amazing experience.
From the moment we arrived, to the time we left.
The staff were so kind and friendly, the toilet/shower block was clean, and the pitches were well maintained.
We had an electric pitch by the stream, and honestly couldn't had asked for better.
All campers were kind and followed the site rules regarding noise, leaving you to experience the majestic tranquil sound of nature
Set in a beautiful location, the camp site states its getting back to nature, and that you are, but with them sometimes needed extras.
We loved every second of our stay, sleeping sound.
Disliked There was nothing

Nice natural environment lovely walks clean, elec hookup and camp fire
Powered grass tent, campervan or trailer tent site
Liked Nice natural environment, lovely walks, clean toilets, able to have hook up and camp fire which was brilliant. Plenty of space available. WiFi available. Everyone very friendly. Able to use the camp fire on site and BBQ. Also able to use a canoe! Lots to do on site without leaving in my opinion. Highly recommend.
Disliked There was no phone signal at all. Completely off grid but there is WiFi available if you wished so not really a dislike.

Stayed a week and had a fantastic time, most probably will return.
Unpowered grass tent, campervan or trailer tent site
Liked The location,no dogs, fire pits, swings, slack line in the wood, small lake with free canoe, views, access to hiking trails, short drive to lovely beeches
Disliked The only thing that let the place down a little was the showers, now having said that, they work, there hot, there clean and free so you cant complain, which I'm not,its just this is a honest review, the water pressure is low so the water only comes out slow, but like I said above they do the job, personally I've had worse on other campsites, its just i wanted to mention for others.

Powered grass tent, campervan or trailer tent site
Liked We loved the
- remoteness of the site
- electric hookup
- private lake and canoe
- nearby walk up "The Rock"
- clean toilet facilities
- nearby beautiful beaches especially Harlech
- nearby Ffestiniog railway
- owners: lovely, friendly and always available
Disliked - confusing recycling situation; lots of wheelie bins with no labels
- broken style over the fence to the stream and swing
- long single-car width roads to get to campsite (could be tricky for unconfident drivers)
- no wifi in lower field and no Three reception!
- the rain!

Beautiful site, family friendly, quiet, very clean and gorgeous views!
Powered grass tent, campervan or trailer tent site
Liked Gorgeous location, lovely spacious pitches, very clean facilities (looked after regularly!), friendly owner. Great for the kids to play and explore! We had amazing neighbours and the very kind owner gave us extra time to pack away and vacate the pitch as the weather in the morning had been so bad - Thank you!!
Disliked The single track road was a little tight in places for our folding camper!! But we managed! Just! Otherwise, nothing to dislike here!

In summery despite the negatives it was actually quite likeable.
Powered grass tent, campervan or trailer tent site
Liked We liked its woodland setting, the fact that a stream runs near by with a little waterfall.
There was a unisex disabled facility with shower, sink, toilet and baby changing.
We also found that the staff were friendly and It was reasonably priced being in the main season too.
We may return, and it maybe worth a visit out out of season.
Disliked We disliked the road getting to and from the campsite.
There was only one male shower and one male toilet which wasn't enough. In the ladies there was only shower and two toilets, again not enough. On the plus side there was a unisex disabled facilities with a shower and baby changing as mentioned above.
