Great mountain views & peaceful spot. Easy riverside walk to Beddgelert. Spacious pitches, clean but dated facilities. Friendly staff. Ideal for walkers. Midges & poor phone signal noted. Many want to return.

Great, friendly camp site

Liked Such a lively camp site. A warm welcome on arrival and the site was beautiful. It was clean and well cared for. We felt safe the entire time and if we needed anything there was always someone on hand. I’d certainly come back!

Great loc for a Snowdon trip, but be prepared to go off grid for phone

Liked Clean easy to find and good location for Snowdon.
Disliked WiFi is essential due to no phone signal and it was poor around the site dropping out several times a minute. Added some stress to the stay.

Liked We were very lucky with the weather. The walks along the river and on top of a hill were "breathtaking".
The staff was always friendly and helpful.
Disliked Electricity was not always available, but the fuse boxes will soon be replaced for stromger ones.

Stunning location. Perfect for outdoors activities.

Liked Absolutely beautiful location with stunning views in every direction.
Lovely walk in to the 'chocolate box' village where there are cafes and pubs.
The showers were powerful and a good temperature.
The WiFi was surprisingly good, for such a rural location.
Very quiet at night. Superb stargazing available with no light pollution.
Disliked Facilities are very 'functional'; felt a bit like an outdoor bounds centre of my youth. There were bugs everywhere and could do with deep clean in my opinion.
The facilities layout is a bit odd; the showers are on one side of a big building and the toilets on the opposite. This wasn't terrible but was unusual.
Could do with a children's playground.

Lovely friendly staff, very clean toilets…
Unpowered grass tent site
Liked Lovely friendly staff, very clean toilets & shower blocks. It was easy to access & leave the site & the views were amazing. Having someone drive around periodically to keep an eye on things was brilliant. It ensured that people camping on their own felt safe.

Liked Stayed a week and absolutely love the site and the location. Good sized pitches, good facilities lovely walk into the village which is well supplied with a general store/post office pubs and cafes. Wild swimming in the stream was great.

Everything! This is a FANTASTIC campsite…
Powered concrete and grass motorhome site
Liked Everything! This is a FANTASTIC campsite and we will definitely be back. Absolutely beautiful. Big spacious pitches, idyllic setting, friendly staff….. perfect!
Disliked We didn’t ‘dislike’ anything, it was perfect. To make it even better, it would be helpful if the campsite had a small shop - just to get bread and milk! Also we were very close to the toilets/showers, but if we were further away, it may have been an issue at night!
