Liked: A nice quiet site, the grounds are kept in a lovely tidy state, nice size pitches with water and electric hook up.
Disliked: The showers are on a timer and the temperature changes throughout. The two toilet cubicles flood as a result of the showers so you need to hold your clothes up whilst sat.

Liked: Absolutely loved staying here I would recommend it for any group of friends! Me and my pals went for a little trip together for my birthday- we’re a big group but not a particularly rowdy one and we were worried about finding somewhere that would be okay for a large group of people in their late 20’s. The warden was absolutely brilliant, super friendly and helped us with all the information we needed and made for a really comfortable and easy stay. He keeps the toilets (which were lovely for camping toilets!) stocked up well and we were very happy with the drinking water taps on site and the free use of a fridge/freezer on site too. It was also my dogs first time camping and he had the time of his life. On my birthday we took a trip over to the botanical gardens (only a 10 min walk from the site) for a picnic which was lovely. There’s shops/ pubs/ takeaways/ restaurants nearby incase the weather turns which was perfect for us as we had a few small showers. We were also delighted to find that there was alpacas and ponies on sight near the entrance! Me and my partner spent another night once the rest of the group had left and still felt just as happy and comfortable :) All in all it was a wonderful stay, I would absolutely recommend this sight to any groups or even couples or solo campers. Thanks so much to the warden for being brilliant I’m sure we will return in future!
Disliked: Nothing!

Liked: Lovely little site in well-kept walled farm/country estate grounds with excellent and conveniently-located facilities. As a backpacking hiker without a car it was handy having a shop (and a Chinese :) ) a 10-15 minute walk away in Penrhos Garnedd and I think you can buy some bits on-site too.

Liked: We had a great time, staff are welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. The toilet and shower block are clean and tidy, lovely warm water, and sanitary products provided were a nice touch. Tent area was well kept and we had no faults with our stay! It’s also a great location for Snowdon, only being 30 minutes away from the car parks, and a short 5 minute drive to Aldi meant we had everything we needed nearby.

Liked: Loved my stay from start to finish. I met a excellent guy in the office on my arrival called John, he was very welcoming and As I am a female travelling wales on my own he was very helpful and made sure if I needed help with anything nothing would be to much trouble. The campsite was kept spotless. The toilets were cleaned several times a day. Also loved the idea of USB charging points in the shower block. They also had hair dryers. Beautiful countryside views also including Alpacas and pony’s on the site entrance. Snack bar there open on weekends I thought that was amazing as I didn’t have to leave. Also very child friendly if you are travelling with kids they had a play park and large grass area for games
Disliked: Disliked absolutely nothing! I didn’t want to leave

Liked: Nice site, well situated. As others have said, the site warden really makes this place and you can tell they really care. He was super helpful when booking and also helped us out with the caravan when leaving. Dog friendly if you keep on lead, with a dog walking area in the camping field that was really handy. Toilet block in the touring area is well kept, with hot showers and hairdryer. Little play park for kids and a snack van serving food and drinks.
Disliked: Basic toilets in the camping area could use a bit of attention.

Liked: The seasonal pitches.which are completely separate to the touring pitches, I cannot fault. We stayed in this enclosure for our 2nd night.
Disliked: Every last thing. Toilets very old in need of replacing. Chemical waste, percolation area with man hole cover, l& wash up area all together side by side with no screening. Unhygienic to say the least. Even though we booked our site, knowing it was a grass pitch,we were placed next to this area. Weather was very wet for awhile which made the sites very muddy. People found it difficult to vacate their site and some had to be pushed by campers. A little gravel on these pitches would have helped greatly Pitches were very tight . It was also extremely expensive at 45.00 euro per night. The most we paid for any campsite in our 2 week stay.
