Nom, nom, nom!
Wood-fired pizza and ice-cold drinks in summer
Bella rutherford from the farm producing some amazing coffee for the caffeine addicts up early!

  • Pop-up site on a working farm two miles from Llandudno and Conwy
  • A 10-minute drive to Snowdonia National Park; walk to the beach
  • Woodfired pizzas, bar, and barista coffee available
Whether you’re cycling to the beach, surfing or relaxing by a firepit back on site, Camp Llandudno will put you in touch with the simple pleasures. A pop-up site with open, spacious fields (and heaps of fresh air, of course), this place is for the folk who like proper back to basics camping. In fact, the owners describe their sheep farm as just a couple of splendid fields that happen to be well-suited to camping… It’s not just the stunning semi-rural location and south-facing fields that are to like here. The farm is also just two miles from Llandudno, Deganwy and Conwy on the North Wales coast, so a five-minute drive will get you to copious cafés, restaurants, bars and pubs. Handily, there's a camp kitchen serving hot breakfast baps in the mornings, as well as barista coffee throughout the day and tasty woodfired pizzas in the evening. A well-stocked bar serving ice-cold drinks is also available. For sea dips, Deganwy beach and West Shore beach are five minutes’ drive away (or a slightly longer walk or bike ride for the active types). With bus stops at the front gate and a food shop and a pub a couple minutes’ drive away, it’s all rather convenient. When it comes to the simple pleasures on site, think firepits for hire (subject to availability) and regular starry skies. Open fires and barbecues are permitted off the ground and firewood can be purchased on site. Other pop-up facilities include six hot-water and four cold-water shower cubicles, a toilet block with proper flushing toilets, additional clean portable toilet facilities, an Elsan point and cold water supplies for drinking and washing up. There’s no electricity or wifi (although there's usually good 4G/3G coverage and you can bring equipment like camping toilets or solar showers). With a fun and relaxed vibe, everyone is welcome here – families, couples, friends, young, old… with well-behaved dogs (on a lead, unless supervised in the designated dog exercise area) included.

What customers say

A friendly, family pop-up site with plenty of space and a relaxed vibe. Praised for clean facilities (esp. showers/toilets) & tasty wood-fired pizzas. Great for exploring the coast. Staff are helpful. Minor noise/crowding noted, but highly recommended & guests want to return.

Unpowered grass tent or motorhome site

Liked Perfect transport links to railway stations at Llandudno and Llandudno junction, both around 15 minutes by bus.
Loads of space on the pitches.Staff really friendly and helpful.Facilities all modern and clean.Free drinking water, hot showers.Wallabies and Turkeys were great to watch.Bar area was lovely in the evening.Felt really safe to allow my almost 10 year old some freedom.

Disliked Wouldn't say dislike as such but would have liked some variety on pizza, maybe garlic bread or similar.Maybe odd bits for sale like toiletries incase anything is forgotten.

Liked Another amazing year, spotless as always every day. Incredible team who are always so friendly and accommodating. The new addition of hot water taps for washing your pots was brilliant this year.

We even did the painting a rock this year and the girls were so good with our son providing the paints and brushes.

The new layout of the pitches this year with the wooden posts made it much better to divide your space with your neighbours.

Disliked Nothing never had a bad thing to say about the team or site facilities but the signal isn't brilliant in the area which is nothing to do with the camp and I know
It's hard with it being a pop up, only one thing I would improve is a guest WiFi maybe for future but again hard to warrant doing when it's a pop up.

Powered grass caravan site

Liked Beautiful clean pop up site, showers and toilets are always clean. Mark and family are friendly and helpful. The kids love the wallabies, emus and the turkey. It’s a great location with loads to do nearby. There’s no park but the kids find friends to play with instantly, campers are generally friendly. You can have a pup tent, gazebo and they provide fire pits. There’s a cafe in the morning for coffee and sausage / bacon baps, a bar / pizza area in the evenings. Can’t beat an evening around the fire pit. We’ve been two years in a row now and will be returning next year!

Disliked Rubbish weather for part of our holiday this year but that can’t be helped
