Liked: Nice, level pitch no need for our ramps! Peaceful, right next to a lovely stream. My elderly parents were allowed to visit for lunch which was much appreciated! And we found a great walk with a footbridge over the river & through the woods, idillic location.

Liked: Nice location close to Brecon, next to the river. Quiet place next to woodland on a working farm. Donkeys and sheep on the fields nearby! Free range eggs on sale. Nearby road is busy but not too bad. Great facilities with hot showers, very clean.
Disliked: Could be more loos/showers if it’s busy. We were staying in the early summer, not too crowded, so all good.

Liked: New clean large toilets & 4 showers; washing-up area with warm water; fridges, kettle and a microwave available; Very friendly; beautiful; recycling avaliable; plenty of walks; working farm with animals to see; wifi; streams and walks right next to it
Disliked: Only 2 proper toilets ( no idea why the 3rd toilet is a urinal only) vs 4 showers... no idea why to invest in 4 showers, which are rarely used, but queues at toilets in morning and evening. Ditch the urinal and one shower for extra toilets- would be perfect

From the manager: Hello, thank you for your comment. We do have four toilets on site. Not just two.
Excellent site, would stay again when camping in the Brecons!

Liked: Absolutely superb site - a real gem that we will be definitely be returning to again. Incredibly friendly & welcoming hosts, the pitches were well maintained & flat. Plenty of space available. Stunning location. Superb facilities for tent users - electric sockets available, fridges, freezers & washing up sinks & free WiFi. The toilets & free hot water showers were top notch - very clean, well maintained with soap & hand driers. Firepits were provided & wood available to purchase (at a good price), as well as camping essentials if something had been left at home. There were also picnic tables available for you to pitch up next to. Lots of take-aways that could be delivered to site & details of nearby walks. Being on a farm was an added bonus - it was all so clean, no unpleasant smells & very little noise from the animals - the odd bray, moo & baa were just welcome reminders - kids & adults alike can enjoy petting & watching their antics. There is a lovely river that runs alongside ideal for a cold water dip, or just paddling. Although quite close to the main road there was virtually no noise & we were pitched in the field closest to it. Every thought has gone into making their clients stay an exceptional experience. I have no hesitation to highly recommending a visit to this site.
Disliked: Just a polite reminder to other campers to be thoughtful about other peoples space when choosing where to pitch up. When there is plenty of space available its inconsiderate to have an only an inch or two between the guide ropes.
