What customers say
Great family spot! Everyone loves the welcoming, safe vibe and heaps of kid fun like feeding animals and building dens. Well-spaced, private pitches in pretty spots. Clean, top-notch facilities, flushing loos and decent showers. Bushcraft and pizza nights a winner. Hosts are ace, and the sheltered spots are a bonus for rubbish weather.

Simply wonderful
Unpowered grass campervan, tent or trailer tent site
Liked Ali & Giles have this uncanny knack when you first meet them of feeling like old friends. You could not hope for more gracious hosts, it was such a pleasure to be their guests.
The site itself is amazing. Nestled within a beautiful pocket of the Welsh countryside, everything has been thoughtfully considered, designed and constructed to a tee. From a desolate farmhouse 17 years ago, to a place at times surreally beautiful. Observing closely you will notice all kinds of clever touches, with no intention to be noticed, but to quietly shine.
Giles, your warmth and humour, along with your kind suggestions for our trip, really lifted the time for us. Vivaldi accompanying the finest English breakfast farewell..
What you both have created and maintain has enriched the lives of so many. Just wonderful. Thank you so much.
Disliked Alas, it will ruin other campsites for you.

beautiful pitches, peaceful and family friendly
Unpowered grass campervan, tent or trailer tent site
Liked I loved it there. The pitches are stunning!! So peaceful but also great for a family as there were other families there giving the place a friendly relaxed feel. The owner was friendly and amazing with the kids. The night singing around the fire made it for me and had me in stitches 🤣 It was super dog friendly too. Facilities were all great!
Disliked Leaving by 10:30 was a bit early as the tent was wet in the morning and I had to pack up alone, but I am guessing this is fairly standard. There was nothing to dislike about this place

Liked Nothing that we didn't like, Excellent site for families, very well run by the owners, Allison and Giles have created the perfect camp site.
Small site that isn't over crowded, but you feel part of a little community..absolutely loved the pizza night and option for a cooked breakfast which was really delicious.
Great for the kids, they have space to play and go off exploring without you having to worry. Animal feeding and collecting the eggs in the morning for breakfast.
They also have a little onsite shop where you can buy any essentials, a fridge freezer if you want to store any food items.
Lovely hot Shower facilities and toilet facilities always kept clean and tidy.
Well worth the drive from North Wales and will definitely be visiting again, hopefully next year.
Giles and Alison very knowledgeable on the area and things to do, where to visit, walks and restaurants, we packed alot in to our visit. Absolutely lovely hosts.

Liked Everything! This was my children's first camping trip and they loved it. Feeding the animals, making dens, exploring the hill fort, buying little treats from the shop and just running around.
The facilities are great, the owners are lovely and despite having to pack up in the drizzle and rain, I couldn't fault anything. An absolute gem.
Disliked Nothing. It's a fantastic site.

Lovely, peaceful family friendly site.
Unpowered grass campervan, tent or trailer tent site
Liked Lovely campsite, nicely spaced secluded pitches, friendly welcome and great local recommendations from the hosts, and animal feeding a couple of the mornings was a hit with our 5 year old! Great to have a chance for a cooked breakfast a couple of the days too. We were lucky with the weather but great to know there's a cosy book room and covered barn area. Washing / washing up facilities all great too.
