The 3 star Point of Ness campsite is situated in an idyllic, peaceful location one mile west of Stromness pierhead. The site provides dramatic views over the Hills of Hoy and surrounding islands. It is located in a quiet location with a shoreline walk from the site, with the nearby skerries being a popular haul out location for seals. The site is suitable for touring caravans, motor homes and tents, being on a level, firm grassy site, protected from the small drop to the sea by a low fence. There are 30 pitches and 12 electric hook up points. There is a toilet and shower block, with access for the disabled. Also included is a well equipped laundry, with washing machine, dryer and iron. Dogs are permitted on the site.
