  • Peaceful park overlooking Findhorn Bay, 10 minutes’ drive from Forres
  • Findhorn Foundation five minutes’ walk; Nairn Beach 20 minutes’ drive
  • Within walking distance of the beach, coastal walks and a marina
Ten minutes’ drive from Forres in the Highlands and Islands, and with a spectacular setting overlooking gorgeous sandy Findhorn Bay and the Moray Firth, Findhorn Bay Holiday Park is a quiet camping and touring site next to the renowned Findhorn Foundation, a model for sustainable community living. On-site facilities include modern and pristine shower facilities, a chemical disposal point, and a laundry with coin-operated washing machines and a dryer. There is a small children’s playground to keep young guests occupied, and dogs are welcome at the park, but must be kept on a lead at all times and cleaned up after please. The Findhorn Foundation runs a café serving delicious organic food (Thursday to Saturday) and an award-winning organic grocery shop, which also sells souvenirs and books. Close by is the Universal Hall, a 350-seat theatre staging a full roster of entertainment. The pretty village of Findhorn (five minutes) has two pubs, two cafés, a marina with a water-sports centre, a bakery and village store.

Liked Great location, lots to do and see in the area.
Great toilets and showers and plenty of them.

Disliked The tent area is very close to the main road and so quite noisy.

Unpowered concrete slab caravan site

Liked I liked it for the piece and quiet and dog friendly atmosphere, it also has a doggy shower. The toilets were lovely and clean. It also has a shop and a restaurant and Pizza takeaway (which I had one and it was delicious)
The walk into Findhorn takes about 20mins a lot longer when your dog sniffs all the scents. There is a bus stop outside the main entrance. Findhorn is very dog friendly and I used to take her to the beach every morning and have a coffee in the Captains

Liked Friendly helpful staff. Washrooms were clean & tidy. Pitches were nice & level, lovely wild grass areas for nature. Plenty of rubbish & recycling bins. Bus stop just outside campsite. Eco village was a plus with shop cafe & pizza at Weekends. Great for walking on the coastal path.

Powered concrete slab caravan site (no awning)

Liked Very clean and tidy pitches , the best bathroom layout I’ve been to by far and I’ve been to hundreds now over the years (individual pods) toilet/shower/sink) , again one of the best on site shops that sell everything and more! Also on site pizzas made to order which were really tasty even though no meat 😮😅
Thanks again

Powered concrete slab caravan site

Liked Laid back. No constant grass cutting and wardens telling you that you are on the wrong side of "the white peg". Basic facilities but all necessary things here. A good shop.
Bus stop outside site.
