Liked: Booking process and communication was excellent. When we arrived the site was immaculate and our pitch was brilliant. We chose a hardstanding pitch and had electric and water if we wanted it. The reception was closed when we arrived in the evening and we left early so can’t comment on that. However the toilet, shower and washing facilities were spotless and very recently upgraded by the look of things. The site was really quiet, with a mix of static caravans, tents, campervans and pods. The best bit was the location. A 5 minute walk down a traffic free path led to an amazing little beach in the southern shore of Loch Lomond with stunning views of the lake and the mountains beyond. Truly stunning.

Liked: Location! So close to Loch Lomond shores. Pod had everything we needed.
Disliked: The door on the fridge was very stiff and difficult to open! WiFi didn’t work during the day.

From the manager: Thank you for your review. The fridge door doesn't appear to be stiff as I have just checked it, so I am unsure why you had an issue? If there was an issue with the WiFi you should have reported this to reception. This would have allowed us to report and remedy the issue, unfortunately if we don't know there is a problem we can't fix it.

Liked: We thought that the site was peaceful, quiet and spacious. The RSPB nature trail nearby was lovely, running alongside the loch and well surfaced. The site's facilities were first class. The only downside on our pitch was the lackofwifi,we seemed to be in a dead spot, maybe due to the angle of the transmitters. Otherwise, we would recommend this site.
