Liked: Planned at short notice as the weather was looking good and we chose Castle Point due to its location and the reviews we had read. The reviews were correct, the site is presented immaculately and upon arrival we were given a choice of pitches all with EHU and went off to setup. The grass had been cut and all the cuttings were removed so no trampling grass into our Campervan. The shower, toilet and washing block were very clean and well maintained and close to the Campervan pitches so no long walks. There are plenty of rubbish bins so not an issue getting rid of your rubbish. From the site there are plenty of walks that are dog friendly and a couple that take you down to the coast where you can do the 1 - 1 1/2 mile walk to Rockcliffe which is a lovely pleasant walk for all ages and abilities with no steep climbs. One thing to note is there are no shops close by so make sure to take provisions if you want to setup and not drive any further. We had food and drink so fine for us but don’t expect a pub close by if you want to go for a few drinks and food.
Disliked: Nothing the site was well run and presented perfectly for visitors

Liked: Really pleasant site, fantastic views excellent toilet, showers and pot washing facilities.
Disliked: Site was soggy when we arrived due to substantial rain for weeks before we arrived. Site manager warned us if we were ok driving in grass and that there could be a long wait f we did get stuck. Thankfully we got an a pitch ok. WiFi was faulty which made evening entertainment difficult so we watched the stars instead which was possibly better than what we wanted to watch anyhow.
