Liked: Modern, tidy and clean site with three lovely showers. We never had to wait to use the bathrooms. Washing up facilities available, as well as a washing machine and dryer. Lovely green area for children to play- also a beautiful field/river walk which we did each evening. Very helpful staff too. Highly recommended.
Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: Clean site very well maintained, very friendly staff on site, good size and level pitch.
Disliked: little bit uncomfortable with on site shower opening into games room.

From the manager: Your review is much appreciated by all of us at Newbridge Country Park. On site there are 3 showers, yes one is off the games room but we do have another 2 showers and toilets a short walk away next to reception, one of which is a wet room which is suitably adapted for the disabled, so you could of used one of those instead, if opening onto the games room made you feel a little bit uncomfortable. We are pleased you appreciated our clean, very well maintained site and our friendly team. We hope you will come and stay again soon.

From the manager: Andrew thank you very much for your your review. We are pleased you liked the large field by the river for dogs to be walked. It's a lovely place for dogs to have a good walk, or you can just take a walk around the field and admire the views or sit by the river. Our team work hard to keep the site clean & tidy, so we are pleased you liked our very clean site & amenities. We are also pleased you were made to feel very welcome by our friendly team. We want all our guests to feel welcome and enjoy their stay with us. Andrew on site there are 3 showers, one is off the games room, but we do have another 2 showers and toilets a short walk away next to reception, one of which is a wet room which is suitably adapted for the disabled, so you could of used one of those Andrew. Thank you again & we hope see you again soon.

Liked: Great welcome and a very tidy site with good gravel pitches although the site is still being developed. Really loved the dog walk area, a large field next to the site which had mown paths around and accross it and benches in a couple of places. Didnt use the toilets or games room so cant comment on them. Really handy for shops, Aldi and Tesco a couple of mins drive away! Definately will be back as a great base for site seeing further afield

Liked: Nice new site in a lovely setting. Toilet and shower facilities absolutely immaculate. Liked that it was only a small touring site. Great location to explore the local area and only 10 minutes drive to town centre Great field adjacent to the touring area for dog walking down next to the river. Very picturesque.
Disliked: Only minor observation. For a brand new site with only 15 touring pitches, it would have been great to have fully serviced pitches.

From the manager: All the team at Newbridge Country Park are extremely pleased you enjoyed you staying with us and that you appreciated our excellent facilities and campsite. As for your suggestion for fully serviced pitches, yes that would be ideal, but we would then have to increase our prices, and we want to keep our pitch fees competitive and as low as possible, so many more people can enjoy our lovely touring site, and the beautiful Scottish scenery. Thank you so much for your nice review. We hope to see you again soon.

Liked: As relative motorhome newbies trying out a larger van, we visited the area with old family ties. Site easy to find just north of Dumfries. Quick check in and paid balance. Choice of touring pitches as it was quiet. Majority flat so didn’t need to use ramps( thankfully). Power hook up a doddle. The site is very well maintained and spotless as was games room and showers/ toilets. Washer, dryer and pot washing facilities all very handy.
Disliked: Nothing really
