What customers say
Lovely, quiet woodland spot with privacy and direct walks. Wigwams clean & well-equipped, with appreciated private loos/showers. Great communal kitchen and dog wash. Basic for some, but happy guests, planning return visits. Friendly staff, good value.

Larch camping pod (basic)
Liked Great facilities - loved having our own bathroom and the kitchen / drying room / (although we didn’t use)were a great addition. We only stayed for 1 night but if we had been there for longer we would have definitely used them.
Check in was easy and communication with the owner was good.
The pod was perfect - comfortable sofa bed with fridge and kettle and outside space to sit and cook.
Great base from which to explore Galloway but also as a stop off from travelling down from north Scotland.
Thank you

Nith camping pod (hot tub)
Liked Absolutely beautiful, very clean, very welcoming. Beautiful peaceful site. I loved the private toilet and shower facilities. Handy dog wash although we did not use it. We did use the hot tub which is lovely and gets super warm and hold the heat overnight so you can have a quick dip in the morning. Communal room was really big with facilities to use as well as laundry room. Lovely private set up in a beautiful rural spot to be able to forget the rest of the world. Beach is a 10min drive away. Pods are really warm on a night time with heater too so no worries for small children.
Disliked Nothing I do nd this site incredible and I'm looking to book again

Well maintained in beautiful location with friendly, responsive staff.
Nith camping pod (hot tub)
Liked Excellent toilet facilities-spotlessly clean with a hot, powerful shower. We had our own toilet/shower meaning we could leave all our toiletries, towels there for the duration.
The kitchen is also spotlessly clean and we did not see a single other person use it!
The doggy shower is very useful after muddy walks.
The location of the wigwam was great-felt quite private and was a pretty spot.
There are lovely walks you can do straight from the site.
Disliked Nothing!!

Disliked Dispite the emails about our personal bathroom others seemed to use it and leave a mess! Our own key for bathroom block would be better. Also couldn't turn benches into double bed not sure what we were doing wrong???
