What customers say
Clean, peaceful spot with friendly staff and good facilities. Terraced, some serviced pitches, plus a pool are highlights. Lovely location for exploring, though some found it isolated with few local shops. Some facility closures, no WiFi, and unclear directions were noted. Birds and pets occasionally noisy.

Great site with clean facilities and friendly staff.
Fully-serviced grass and gravel caravan site
Liked Service touring pitches were sheltered from any wind and were close to the pool. Toilets/showers were clean and laundrette was useful. Pool was clean and was free to use while we were on site - kids enjoyed it. Small playground and grassed flat area with football goals on. Site was close to small town about 8 min drive - Dalbeattie suitable for getting supplies from local shops. Community shop walkable from site in Palnackie and free range eggs from house at honesty box next door to the site. Games room always open with pool table and air hockey with some board games too, useful if weather is poor. The bob and Shirley, the owners were lovely, live on site and are popping around in golf buggy regularly. We went out and about in the car to kippford and had ice cream and walk down small fishing town. Deer park is a short drive away too, which is well worth a visit. Massive beach there too.

Fully-serviced grass and gravel caravan site
Liked The sunshine …toilets nice and clean
Disliked Nothing in the park wasn’t good for the dog either!…fishing you had to walk a fair wee bit on the main road which wasn’t ideal!…thought it was a bit pricey for electricity for one night!swimming pool that’s outdoors was out of order

Quite/basic site, a long way from local amenities
Powered grass and gravel caravan site
Liked Nice clean site with good toilets/showers
Disliked Lack of WiFi and the fact all of the advertised on-site facilities were closed and the local pub was also closed (and clearly has been for some time)
Suggest the description is updated as this meant the features we were looking for when we booked were not available and, had we known, we would have booked elsewhere

Quiet time of year so very peaceful altho stray peacocks from neighbouring farm would make their presence known occasionally. Not bothersome to us.
