What customers say
Great eco-campsite with a chill vibe. Loved the close proximity to town, shops & pubs with live music. Friendly staff, natural setting & animals a bonus. Facilities are basic but clean. 'Off-grid' means it's not for everyone. Perfect for a nature escape.

Overall a very pleasant experience, friendly staff and cool setting.
Unpowered grass and gravel caravan site
Liked Very warm welcome by the staff who worked there. We had 3 pitches booked and they allocated the pitches so we were all together which was really sound.
Beautiful little campsite that’s rough and ready but adds to the charm. There were hens scratching about and ducks in a pen. There was compost toilets and regular ones too. Basic enough facilities but clean and hot water for a shower.
We had a barbecue the two days we were there and the staff were chilled about it. We bought some fresh eggs and organic salad leaves which were delicious.
We walked into the village and went for a few pints which was so handy, great location.
Disliked I liked everything about the campsite and would go back again. A minor issue was the ground on my pitch became soft due to heavy rain, it got a bit muddy in an and out of the van and I nearly got the van stuck leaving the pitch. I locked the differential and luckily was able pull myself out. The other pitches that my friends were staying at were grand.

Great place and friendly staff, still need to work on facilities
Unpowered grass site
Liked Very green campsite, lovely staff and lovely animals.
Liked the smalls sinks and water filter.
Toilet facilities closeby.
Liked the circus tent to hang out in!
Close to Supervalu and laundromat and close to pubs with live music!
Disliked Shower facilities were not very satisfying: not enough water pressure, mouldy wood and only one shower for the entire campsite.
Not very sure what the term 'glamping' is based on.
