Liked: This camp was perfect for us and our van It was peaceful with beautiful surroundings The facilities were as described. Compost toilets more than adequate and lovely hot showers Washing up area as well . That is all but nothing more needed We pitched next to a ready made fire pit and had a lovely evening watching the stars and burning a barrow load of wood purchased from our host at a very reasonable price He also bought us eggs fresh from his rescue chickens The site is spacious , peaceful , and very beautiful The price was exceptional Great location to explore Also a fantastic network of footpaths for lovely walks

Liked: The Farmer met us as we arrived, and was super friendly- he explained the best place to pitch for a lovely sun rise. The first morning, the farmer brought us 4 complementary freshly laid eggs for breakfast! We went out for the day and came back to another box of fresh eggs! The toilets and showers are very clean, as was the whole site. There was a firepit, table, and log chairs for each pitch and benches dotted around to chill under the trees.
Disliked: Nothing to dislike!

Liked: Location onsite is great. Good facilities including the compost toilet, showers and wash station. It’s nice to have a peaceful campsite with a more natural feel. Mike keeps the site really tidy and clean in the toilets/showers. No concerns about that. Nice walk to the local pub up the lane about a mile.

Liked: Me and my family really enjoyed our stay. First time camping as a family in out new tent and not the last. This was a trial camp etc but it was just what we wanted, very relaxed in a beautiful spot with a short 20minute drive to Bristol/Bath. Star gazing, camp fires, marshmellows, rain, wind, no electric.....proper camping lol. Will definitely be returning for a longer stay! Thanks to Mike for putting on little activities for the kids. See you soon!
