  • Laidback glamping site surrounded by the Wiltshire countryside
  • A 25-minute drive from the New Forest and Stonehenge
  • Direct access to the Monarch's Way walking trail
Check in for some quality time at Hillview Farm Glamping. A 25-minute drive from Stonehenge and the New Forest National Park, this site has rather splendid views of the Wiltshire countryside and woodlands on site with swings and plenty of space for kids to unwind (dogs too, as long as they’re kept on a lead to preserve the wildlife). If you’re after a little bit of extra comfort, this pop-up site has a nice serving, as the smart fitted bell tents have a comfy double bed (complete with bedding and bedside tables), carpets, rugs and communal seating around a firepit to make things extra toasty, plus access to a washing-up area and a games area for kids. If you’re after more, single blow-up beds, barbecues, coolboxes, ice, logs and single bedding can also be hired for an extra cost. In search of some tasty things to eat? Salisbury’s varied restaurants, pubs and cafés are 15 minutes’ drive away or less, and there’s a pub and a village shop five minutes’ drive away (that’s half an hour’s walk if you’d rather go on foot). While you’ll have space and privacy on the pitch, there are also communal areas including amenities such as showers and composting toilets. And when you fancy strolling off the site, several footpaths run away directly from the site, including the historic Monarch’s Way, which can be walked or cycled. Within walking distance of the site along this route, there’s the National Trust’s Figsbury Ring (a splendid spot for a sunset with the backdrop on the Iron Age hill fort and views over Salisbury Plain, Old Sarum and Salisbury Cathedral).
