Unpowered grass tent or trailer tent site
Liked Relaxed feel, pitch anywhere basis. Quiet area with no light pollution and beautiful views across to Salisbury Plain. Fabulous walks from the campsite and lovely pubs nearby.
Disliked Couldn’t complain about anything, does what it says on the tin! Basic facilities but the location makes up for it.

Liked Rural location
Disliked Not the fault of the the campsite owners but the family, despite there being loads of space, pitched right next to me and made a lot of noise.

Unpowered grass tent or trailer tent site
Liked A lovely quiet and basic site. We were greeted by Robbie the owner who made us feel very welcome. The field is large so there’s plenty of room to be distanced from others. On the field, there are two clean portaloos and a cold water tap with sink. It also has a small tent shop with eggs, logs etc and additional provisions can be ordered from the owners.
There’s plenty to do without taking the car. We walked over the Pewsey Downs and above the white horse. There’s also the quirky Barge Inn and lovely Honeystreet Cafe about 30 mins walk along the canal.
For us, this was a perfect place for a few nights stay.
