A quiet rural spot with modern, clean pods, great for exploring Yeovil & Dorset coast. Good showers, toilets. Guests loved the space, pet-friendliness, kettle & BBQ. Parking's a short walk, site's on a slope. Great 4G.

Liked It was comfy, toilet block was clean and very close. I felt safe as two women on our own. The pod itself was spacious. We had our dogs with us and they had an area that was enclosed where my dogs could be off the lead and run around, they had the best time. Lots of lovely walks near by.

Disliked No dog poo bins, wasn’t sure where to put it so ended up taking it home with me. Obviously in poo bags but still.

Liked The area ideal for yeovil junction trains also easy access near to A37 for Dorset the pod is all you need if you going to be out all day has a kettle and heater parking amd open space outside if you have pets also a brick built bbq showers and toilet near by and relaxing space

Liked Beautiful quiet rural site on a small farm with lots of space around the pod. Clean modern toilet and shower facilities.
Lovely local area close to the south coast. The pods was clean and dry with space to walk around the bed.
Excellent 4G reception on O2

Disliked It wasn't an issue for me, but the part of the site where the pods are is on an incline and the parking is about 50 meters away.

Liked Peaceful site with good quality toilets/washrooms. Pod excellent thank you. Fairly close to Yeovil but felt very rural on site. Close to Jack the Treacle Eater and lovely walk into Nine Springs and also walk into Stoford to pub from site.

Local attractions

Walks, bike rides and horse rides are great ways to explore from Rexes Hollow but they're far from the only options, what with the Yeovil Steam Railway (10 minutes’ walk) being so close by. Or maybe you'd like to take a buddy for a walk instead at Cary Alpacas (20 minutes). If you’d rather stick to the wheels, the lake and woodlands around Ninesprings Country Park (five minutes’ drive/half an hour’s walk) are a splendid setting for such cycles. Or there’s Ham Hill Country Park (15 minutes' drive), a nature reserve with a Roman site and an Iron Age hill fort for a dose of history on your way around. More historical sites can be sought out locally, whether it’s a museum such as the Haynes International Motor Museum (20 minutes), the Fleet Air Arm Museum (15 minutes) or the Cerne Abbas Giant (20 minutes), a sculpture of a man etched into the side of a chalk hill from ancient times. As for some water-based action, cast your rod at Sutton Bingham Reservoir (five minutes) or head to the coast for the quiet West Bay beach (40 minutes) or golden Weymouth beach (40 minutes).
