What customers say
Lovely orchard site. Super peaceful, owners super friendly. Clean loos (eco too!) and great showers. Fab for walks/cycles. A few stony pitches and a hidden fee. Mostly brilliant, people want to come back!

Pre determined sites for campers
Lovely big space (plot 3) for our family.
Disliked Very quiet. Our two young boys are well behaved but love being loud and I felt bad on other campers.
Small with little privacy.
Next to a busy road, under aeroplane route
Some thistles under foot, have to keep shoes on all the time.
1000 flies immediately in the tent, tempted maybe by the apples fallen from the trees.

From the manager: Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review, our unique toilets are in keeping with the ethos of the greener camping club and we are pleased that you found them to be acceptable:) We look forward to welcoming you back to the orchard.
Most expensive site of our tour with worst facilities. Not returning.
Power optional grass tent or motorhome site
Liked Peace and quiet, orchard setting, easy hookup, good access to coastal path.
Disliked £12 COMPULSORY green club membership.
No waste water disposal for either casette or grey water. Only Composting toilets for campers when normal WC toilets were available elsewhere on site.

From the manager: Thank you for your review we are glad that you appreciated the peace and quiet of the orchard.
We do have grey water waste but not black and this is explained to anyone that asks. The reason for this is that our site is on a cesspit rather than the mains and chemicals in black waste will destroy the cultures of the cesspit which is not an option.
Our camping license is through the Greener Camping Club and therefore the £12 membership is compulsory and gives access to around 150 sites throughout England and Wales. We really can't do anything about this and always hope that people coming to our site will visit other eco friendly sites using their membership.
The compost toilets are in keeping with the ethos of the Greener Camping Club, I feel that you weren't aware of what we are about, funnily enough we get so many compliments about our compost toilets from campers who are on board with Eco Camping.
The other toilets are on a different part of the site, not accessible to campers and actually belong to a different business.
Your poor review feels a little unfair as you did know the costs upfront and could of chosen a different site if you weren't happy to pay them.
We will continue to pride ourselves on our popular, cosy (but spacious pitches) eco campsite and wish you all the best
