Unpowered grass site
Liked Amazing campsite, excellent location. Staff all friendly and always with a smile. Toilets and showers are probably the best we’ve used as regular campers. Pitches are great with plenty of water taps nearby. Will definitely be returning.

Unpowered grass site
Liked very nice camp site, friendly and helpful staff, good facilities, lots of space and the freedom to pretty much set up wherever we wanted. only a short from there walk into Cheddar, and an even shorter walk to the brewery up the road which did wood fired pizza

Disliked Charges for recycling waste, we didn’t have any and paying extra charges for electricity, at the price charged it when it should be included

From the manager: Upon arrival, Angela was asked if she would be using any heating devices, as these can heavily impact upon the number of KW used and therefore the costs incurred, as explained during the booking process. She informed us she would be, so we advised her to pop an additional £5 to avoid the risk of running out overnight. In the event she only used £2.00 of this additional money, so had £3.00 due back to her
I have spoken to Angela and, owing to her misunderstanding/failing to read the explanation given during the booking process, I have refunded the entire £5.00 she paid. Had she called the number on the sign outside Reception, upon departure, this would have happened as a matter of course.
In regard to resenting our £1.00 charge towards recycling (again clearly explained upon booking), we have invested over £3000 in trug buckets, bags and labour to clean them, so this nominal charge simply goes towards the costs we have incurred in trying to do the right thing for the environment. We don't feel that's too much to ask, so for those who do, it's entirely your prerogative to choose to stay elsewhere!
We will continue to fly the banner of fair power charges and sustainability!

The whole vibe!
Disliked Nothing but would’ve been handy to have the whole toilet block open at all times (rather than just one section) but not a huge issue.
WiFi didn’t work for us but wasn’t an issue.
