You’ll be able to squeeze the maximum amount of sea air out of your Dorset coastal break when you stay at East Fleet Farm Touring Park – this spectacular location is on the shores of the Fleet Lagoon, with views over Chesil Beach to the open sea beyond. Having sea views from the site means that you may be tempted to hang around on your pitch, put your feet up and simply take in the scenery for much of your break. And that’s not a bad idea at all – pitches are generously sized, with access to a play area and playing field for kids that may need a bit more activity. The well-stocked shop has various camping/caravan accessories and consumables, and it’s also the place to pick up a newspaper and an ice cream to take back to your camping chair. For more substantial eats, head to the on-site bar, which has an extensive food menu as well as a range of local drinks. It really is worth making the effort to get out and about locally though: there are some stunning walks on the South West Coast Path (which passes next to the site) and plenty of places to go for a bike ride. Weymouth and Dorchester are easily accessed too, as are the watersports of Portland and attractions such as Abbotsbury Swannery.

  • Reception is unmanned after 5 p.m.. Please inform the campground while on your way there should you expect to arrive after this time so that the team can provide information about your unit/site.
  • At least one of the party members must be aged 21 or over.
  • The bar opens weekends during low season and then more regularly during mid season. It is open nightly during the school holidays.

Fantastic spot, top facilities, and helpful staff. Spacious, tidy sites, clean modern loos. Well-stocked shop. Mostly peaceful, but can be noisy near the playground and queues happen. Narrow access lane.

Liked It was a very nice place to stay.And the staff were very helpful especially the young lady in the shop who helped us out when we couldn't find our space to park we think her name was berni .we are looking at booking 3 pitches on 17/08/2026 4 adults pitch 1,2 adults 4 children pitch 2 and 2 adults 3 children

Disliked We think the pitches could be marked better.maybe a stake with the number on.as the ones on the floor were covered with grass.

Liked What a lovely clean camping place it was and the staff was very friendly and helpful had a nice shop if you forgot anything showers was nice and clean with there own toilet great place for kids with it’s own park for them to play had a great pub played bingo had a pool tables food looked fantastic!! Nice walks with fabulous views I would recommend it!!

Disliked Just needs some lighting at night so you can see a little better a round the camp it’s not a dislike just an observation!!

Liked Really nice place, lot of space between the different slots, personal was incredibly kind, good possibilities for cycling, nice accomodation included. This list is non exhaustive :-)

Disliked The camping park should check the faucets. Too many of them would let the water flow indefinitely, if you do not pull them back. Such a waste!

Liked The site is fantastic. Located in a beautiful area overlooking the ocean. It has everything you need on site, shop, restaurant, pub, play park and more. The owners and staff are welcoming and very helpful when you need. Nice walks along the coast and close by to Weymouth which is a lovely town. Definitely be staying again in near future.

Liked Excellent site with good sized level plot and lovely views. Very clean facilities. The staff were all so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The shop was well stocked with a wide range of food, beach products and camping accessories. The best site shop I've seen. Fresh pastries and bread available to collect for breakfast. Would definitely book again. Lovely views and nice to hear the wildlife in the mornings.

Disliked We booked a touring pitch for 5 nights for 19-24 October. Unfortunately 5 days before we were due to arrive our car broke down and we were unable to get a part for it so we asked if we could defer it to a later date. We were informed that it was not possible so we lost all our money and having stayed on this Site several times before we feel very disappointed as we had a genuine reason so we won't be booking this Site ever again.

Local attractions

Can’t keep your eyes off the sea views? Pick up the South West Coast Path at the bottom end of the park, or head for favourite spots along the Jurassic Coast like West Bay (half an hour’s drive) and Lulworth Cove (35 minutes). The Isle of Portland (15 minutes) is also a great place for a walk, and it’s also got lots of watersports including windsurfing, coasteering and scuba diving. Weymouth (10 minutes) is another perennial favourite for its lovely sandy beach and attractions like the Sea Life Centre and Pirate Adventure Golf. You can also get to the town on two wheels by picking up the Weymouth Trail cycle route from the bridleway by the site (or follow the full nine-mile trail up into the hills…) Other options for days out nearby include Abbotsbury Swannery and Subtropical Gardens (15 minutes), Vurlands Animal Farm (20 minutes) or an arty afternoon at Sculpture By The Lakes (half an hour).
