Electric gravel touring pitch
Fully serviced

  • Spacious pitches on the Dorset coast, overlooking Chesil Beach
  • A 10-minute drive to central Weymouth; 15 mins to Isle of Portland
  • On-site bar for drinks and food; play area and playing field
You’ll be able to squeeze the maximum amount of sea air out of your Dorset coastal break when you stay at East Fleet Farm Touring Park – this spectacular location is on the shores of the Fleet Lagoon, with views over Chesil Beach to the open sea beyond. Having sea views from the site means that you may be tempted to hang around on your pitch, put your feet up and simply take in the scenery for much of your break. And that’s not a bad idea at all – pitches are generously sized, with access to a play area and playing field for kids that may need a bit more activity. The well-stocked shop has various camping/caravan accessories and consumables, and it’s also the place to pick up a newspaper and an ice cream to take back to your camping chair. For more substantial eats, head to the on-site bar, which has an extensive food menu as well as a range of local drinks. It really is worth making the effort to get out and about locally though: there are some stunning walks on the South West Coast Path (which passes next to the site) and plenty of places to go for a bike ride. Weymouth and Dorchester are easily accessed too, as are the watersports of Portland and attractions such as Abbotsbury Swannery.

What customers say

Brilliant campsite, spotless loos (showers are ace!). Friendly staff, handy shop, great coastal walks. Spacious pitches, though some a bit sloped. Occasional Wi-Fi woes & playground noise noted.

Liked Everything about this site is great, this was our second visit this year. Ideal for cycling into Weymouth as at the top of the private road starts the cycle path network around town.

Liked We liked the lay out of the campsite, lovely drivable roads through out the campsite. We also had a good experience In the campsite shop securing everything we needed when necessary. And had a good range of food in shop. We also liked the location of this campsite as it was close to everything we needed.

Disliked Throughout the stay at eastfleet we did not have a great experience with the cleanliness of the toilets/ showerblocks and the restaurant. Dirty plates left on all tables within the restaurant and the seating area outside of the restaurant. I’m swiftly going to move on to the toilet and shower block. The toilet and shower blocks were infested with flies, Mud flicked up the walls and dirty toilets. Within my week of the stay at the campsite I had not seen 1 member of staff cleaning the toilets or shower rooms. Bear in mind the “cleaning in progress” sign was put out but no cleaner in sight and no cleaning done. When we were in the dishwash room I did notice a cleaner in there however everything was being flicked onto the floor then left. We then spent the evening in the restaurant area and had a good elderly couple next to us who waiting 1 hour 30 minutes for their food but their starters had arrived before the 1 hour 30 timer started. These customers who pay money towards your business were very cross and there was no apology given from your team at the campsite. Food should never take this long to come out! I felt awfully terrible for this couple. Everyone else was getting food around them within this 1 hour 30. (People who ordered after) we were one of them.

Liked Staff were REALLY nice and kind.

The facilities were amazingly clean.

The shop was stocked with all the essentials- including the extras needed for repairing and maintenance of your 'home for the holiday' from basic tent pegs to awning fixing kits , from bungee rope to water carriers for your motor home, this small shop was great!

The bar was nicely laid out with good beers on tap and cocktails available along with soft drinks for the kids.

THE SITE STILL ACCEPTS CASH

Disliked Our pitch was not level and the gully behind seemed to of flooded into our awning overnight ..we slept dry as we were up in our van.... but we'll blame the storm Erin for mistreating us!

The WiFi is rubbish !!!

There is no swimming pool onsite, that is shown in the photos!

The entertainment barn was so full it prohibited us from getting involved!

Unfortunately the food was a bit expensive for what it was, and as for the actual burgers..... to be honest I would rather of eaten a McDonalds burger patty than theirs and I refuse to eat McDonalds rubbish! The only rescuing part of the burger was the nicely filled rolls having a decent amount of salad in them!

-Welcoming staff
-A good number of family showers that can be used, so good for families with younger children.

Liked Great site second time visit great staff great facilities

Disliked Although the shower facilities were okay I do think a slight upgrade is needed when you get to have a shower if your not the first to have one the floors are soaking wet when you get out why can they not be fully enclosed so you can stand in a dry area

Local attractions

Can’t keep your eyes off the sea views? Pick up the South West Coast Path at the bottom end of the park, or head for favourite spots along the Jurassic Coast like West Bay (half an hour’s drive) and Lulworth Cove (35 minutes). The Isle of Portland (15 minutes) is also a great place for a walk, and it’s also got lots of watersports including windsurfing, coasteering and scuba diving. Weymouth (10 minutes) is another perennial favourite for its lovely sandy beach and attractions like the Sea Life Centre and Pirate Adventure Golf. You can also get to the town on two wheels by picking up the Weymouth Trail cycle route from the bridleway by the site (or follow the full nine-mile trail up into the hills…) Other options for days out nearby include Abbotsbury Swannery and Subtropical Gardens (15 minutes), Vurlands Animal Farm (20 minutes) or an arty afternoon at Sculpture By The Lakes (half an hour).
