From the manager: At Cadgwith Camping, we decided early on that we will not be plumbing in toilets and shower blocks, or altering the landscape in any permanent way. We value the nature and feel strongly that this is the right decision for the site. All our facilities sit on pallets, so that at the end of the season, the field is returned to its natural state. We do have washing-up facilities that double up as hand washing, immediately to the left of the toilets. It has a sink with a shower head, hot water and a cold water tap. Like the showers, it is run off a portable gas fed boiler. We keep it stocked with 'eco-friendly' washing -up liquid for our guests to use, anytime. We will certainly add some eco-friendly hand-wash too, thank you for your feedback.
Book direct dont use pitchup. It tells you it’s full when it isnt

Liked: Location Friendliness of owners Basic only facilities, but clean and water hot
Disliked: The fact pitchup said it was full for the further two days we wanted to stay when it was almost empty! Luckily we asked the owners on arrival if we could stay the extra two nights and that was fine. Best to contact site direct rather than use pitchup A bit droughty in the shower as very windy during our visit!

Liked: Location was OK, 15 mins walk to a local pub in a very beautiful village.
Disliked: Composting toilets and outside shower. Never again will I go on a site with either of these.

From the manager: We appreciate that composting toilets are not for everyone and would refer people to our campsite details and description before booking. Liked: Wow this place really is amazing! This is a family run site through and through and the owners are the loveliest people you will meet who go out of their way to make you feel welcome. They really are the heart of this campsite and are such genuine, kind and friendly people. This place is properly dog friendly and doesn’t charge for dogs which is a refreshing change! The views are absolutely out of this world incredible and you are surrounded by sea views and fields. The location to Cadgwith and Kynance cove is perfect. The campsite is exactly what we wanted - enough facilities to mean we can camp comfortably, without taking away from the beauty and rawness of what camping is about. No distractions, surrounded by nature with lovely people and epic views. We will be back for sure!! Thank you so much.

Liked: Absolutely brilliant!!!! Amazing sea views and the owners were so lovely and helpful. We got our van stuck in wet mud and the wonders were more than happy to pull us out with their tractor! There are lovely hot showers, a sink for washing up, toilets and they even wash your clothes for only £5. Very Dog friendly too! We have had such a lovely time and will definitely be visiting again!
Disliked: There was nothing we disliked, everything was perfect!
