Liked: Used this site a few times now and would always go back. Owners are friendly and helpful. Kids love the playing field and park loads of space for them to run about. Facilities are kept clean. Pitches are a good size.

Liked: The price was good. The owners nice. Clean site. Close to perranporth town.

Disliked: The facilities were not good. Theshower thermostat was stuck. So couldn't control how hit it was. The showers very basic and small. Not enough room to dress and dry yourself. Also much of the site on sloping pitches.

Liked: Clean and tidy site with a friendly welcome. Close to shops and a decent pub in the village. Handy to get to Newquay and Perranporth from. Dog exercise fields and lovely walks close by.

Liked: We have just returned from a week here with our two young children and our dog. We all loved the site. The toilets/shower block was clean. Manager was lovely and friendly. My children were able to play safely at the park and made good friends. The children loved that you can use the ping pong table and football table. We loved the location and the pitch sizes. We will deffo be returning.

Liked: Great location. Well maintained pitches.

Disliked: Facilities are a little tired and dated. Games room needs sorting. Dirty with random tables and chairs stored in there. Fridge freezer again very tired and needed cleaning. Hot water to wash up is limited and goes cold quickly. Lighting would be good in the evenings as it makes it dangerous going to the toilets or games room as you can't see where you're going. Wifi code doesn't work.

Liked: Good space for tent set up. Quiet park generally Good play area for kids Fridge and freezer for use Location only 5 mins from Perranporth

Disliked: One shower block always had drains clogged with hair which made them smell and weren't cleaned out for the 6 nights we were there. Fridge and freezer were very dated and could also do with a clean

So, about those surfing beaches. Atlantic waves are consistent at three-mile-long Perranporth (five minutes’ drive) beach. Fistral, Newquay and Porth beaches (all 15 minutes) are also popular spots for catching waves. All four beaches have gear hire and surfing schools for any level of skill too. And as it’s just 20 miles from north to south Cornish coasts, you can contrast the surf of the Atlantic Ocean with the calmer waters of the English Channel at family-friendly beaches like Swanpool (40 minutes) at Falmouth, which has mini-golf, kayak hire and bouncy castles for younger kids. Away from the coast, you can play golf (10 minutes), get to know the locale on horseback (five minutes), or climb aboard the mini-steam train at Lappa Valley (15 minutes) to chug through an area rich with Cornish tin-mining relics. Take a trek with friendly llamas from Llama Lland, or visit Healeys Cornish Cyder Farm (both 10 minutes) to taste and buy some local scrumpy cider.

Barbecues are permitted but must be raised off the ground and attended by an adult at all times.

Vehicles

Commercial vehicles (vehicles used for work-related purposes, carrying goods or fare-paying passengers) and sign-written vehicles are not permitted on site.

Dogs

Dogs must be kept on leads and supervised at all times.

Safety

Firearms are not permitted.

Occupancy

Group bookings of 3 or more adults are not permitted (couples and immediate family members excepted).

Guests are advised to bring a good quality torch with them as parts of the campground/park are unlit.

General

In the event of a complaint, please speak to reception immediately. Complaints which are not brought to the management's attention during your stay cannot be dealt with once you have left the site.

Reception is open from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. between 01/04 and 27/10.

Occupancy

Single-sex bookings of 3 or more people (couples and immediate family members excepted) are not permitted via Pitchup.com.
The campground/park caters for families (immediate members) and couples only - bookings from all other forms of groups are not accepted.

Dogs

The campground/park does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dog Act (i.e. Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro).

General

The management reserves the right to deny access or terminate the stay of those guests whose behaviour is deemed unsuitable. No refunds will be offered.

Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.

Visitors

Visitors must leave the premises by 10:30 p.m..
Visitors must register at reception and pay their fee.

Additional terms

Awnings to have breathable groundsheets only and maximum pup tent size is 4ft x 2ft.

Family room has a coin-operated pool table. It is locked at 10.30pm.

No ball/frisbee games in the touring fields.

Laundry facilities are coin operated.

All children/teenagers must return to their own caravan/tent at 10.30pm.
