Liked: snooker table and table tennis are of good quality. My wife and I played games for hours there. There was a nice tennis and football field as well. The toilets and showers were in good shape and clean. The owner was cheerful and welcomed us warmly. Thanks

Liked: Fabulous site, really well maintained with excellent amenities, everything you need to maintain your motorhome or caravan is very easily accesible with plenty of grey water disposal points and fresh water taps available 24/7, along with chemical toilet emptying facilities, wetsuit cleaning area, laundry room, dish washing area, games room, free wifi, childrens play park with swings and climbing frames. A new addition feom when we last stayed about 14 years ago is a full sized grass tennis court and 5 aside football pitch complete with goals. The well stocked shop is staffed by really friendly and helpful staff, who will go out of their way to ensure you get what you need. Overall a really pleasant and relaxing experience. Highly recommended.

Liked: Fantastic from start to finish - the site and facilities are immaculate. On arrival we were met by the biggest welcome from Andrew who offered a move from our booked pitch to one immediately opposite the play area which turned out to be an huge hit with the kids. The site Shop is well provisioned, pitches are level and well kept. Porthtowan beach and facilities were great for families - already looking at dates for later in the year!
Disliked: None

Liked: Extremely safe, we were happy to let our 7&5 year olds go and see their friends and play in the field. Facilities are really good, short wait for the showers/toilets/sinks at peak times but the campsite was full. It was easy to just head over at a quieter time. A couple of delicious food vans visited (crepes and pizza). Porthtowan beach is beautiful! The cliff walk there is quite long for young children but stunning so worth the walk! If you want to drive and park get there early! A great base to see lots of areas of Cornwall!
Disliked: Nothing but a couple of improvements would be - park equipment for younger children, food vans staggered throughout the week, a pre ordered dinner option e.g chilli etc would be good, Especially for the first day! Screening in the family bathrooms to stop everything getting wet.

Liked: Clean, organised, lots of bonus facilities such as book borrowing, games room and wetsuit washing as well as everything you would expect at a touring site. Very friendly welcome when we arrived.
Disliked: Was travelling with my uni age daughter and the site was maybe a bit formal for our tastes, the information sheet provided when we booked made all the rules very clear, but we both felt a little nervous about accidentally doing something ‘wrong’ whilst we were there (we are newbies to motorhoming so that could have been part of the problem for us). Would recommend as it is a great site and you’re guaranteed excellent standards, just maybe a bit too excellent for a couple of quirky oddballs like us!
