Liked: The staff were really lovely and check in was nice and quick with everything explained. Non peak season meant we could pick our own pitch. The toilet, shower and washing up facilities were absolutely immaculate. I've never been to a campsite were they kept on top of cleanliness so much. Site was nice and quiet, really peaceful. There's also lots of lovely beaches and things to do nearby.
Disliked: Would be handy to have a mirror when driving out of the either exit as you're pulling out not being able to see round the hedges. But that's a minor point really.

Liked: Lovely quiet site where we were able to choose our own pitch. Grass nice and short and everything seemed well maintained. Simple but clean shower and toilet blocks. Didn’t use them so can’t rate the shower. Only stayed one night in mid June so some facilities weren’t open but we would return. Lots of history to be seen in old photos displayed.
Disliked: Wi-Fi only available in communal areas

Liked: So much here to like, the setting is stunning, the facilities are spotless, the location was perfect for me to use as a base for exploring different areas. The whole place has been so well thought out, with everyone catered for. I marvelled at the dark sky watching the stars at night. When I visited it was out of peak season, still very quiet and peaceful. I look forward to another trip to sample the swimming pool, maybe have a game of table tennis, table football and pool. I enjoyed wandering around the site, taking in the beautiful gardens, open space and woodland. I will plan to be on site at dusk next time for a walk as I imagine there would be plenty of wildlife.
Disliked: I worried a bit about the fact that swallows were nesting in the barn and that any loud entertainment could impact the chances of the little ones making it if the parents abandoned the nest. They need all the nest sites they can get. I'm not sure when the schedule of entertainment begins, perhaps it is after they have fledged.
