What customers say

Peaceful, simple spot with great views & value. Friendly owners, clean facilities (compost toilets/cold showers a hit!). Occasional background hum & slope on pitches, but the natural setting & local attractions are big draws. Highly recommended.

Unpowered grass tent or trailer tent site

Liked Lovely open area with a good view of surrounding fields and sky. It's in a good location, we chose this because we were visiting the Eden project so it was very nearby. The sea is just ten mins away. We also visited a lovely pub called the Polgooth Inn which was a short drive away. I wish there were a closer pub to walk to but we were just short on time, the closest open pub was probably a 30min walk.
Good facilities with composting toilets that were very clean, showers and a sink and soap.
I also got a huge splinter from a broken tent pole and Daisy's mum kindly rolled up with dettol, needle and tweezers and yanked it out for me. Lovely lady. Thank you.

Disliked Quite a bumpy track and uneven field - not really a problem but worth being aware of.

Unpowered grass tent or trailer tent site

Liked Open field camping, great size pitches and totally taking it back to basics.

Good facilities of two compost toilets, two fresh water showers and washing up facilities. Local information board and the availability of hiring a fire pit and purchasing logs for £5 a bag.

Owners always on hand in needed and Daisy did a brilliant job of making sure everyone was well looked after.

Great location to Mevagissey and The Pentewan Valley Trail is right at the bottom of the campsite for walking or cycling.
