Liked: Honestly amazed with this place. If you are looking for somewhere out of the way and to feel closer to nature, this is the place for you. Close to the town if you need supplies but feels like you're miles from anywhere. Still has everything you might need, toilets, nice new shower unit and electrics if anything needs charging etc, but without the mass sea of tents and people of your usual campsite. Lin is absolutley lovely, very personable and friendly, clearly cares about people getting the most out of their time there. The photos don't give this place justice, its everything i was looking for and very excited to go again and to see how the garden grows and progesses. 10/10

Liked: Really lovely eco campsite with clean compost toilets, loads of green space, chickens and ducks nearby that we got some eggs from. There was plenty of trees and green space and a lovely area with park benches that we cooked and ate on We got a really warm welcome and it's really convenient for Eden Project, Lost Gardens of Heligan and the beaches.

Liked: Lynn (did I get the spelling right?) was lovely and super helpful; the site was small but it's clear she cares about it deeply and wants it to be a place where people can come and enjoy nature and peace, from the local community as well as people travelling in. We had a perfect night despite the weather and can't wait to come back soon and see what she's done with the place next, it's only going to get better as more amenities get added!

A stroll on Hensbarrow Moor (20 minutes’ drive) leads to many reminders of this historic craft, from the ruins of Littlejohns China Clay Pit (15 minutes) to the numerous mounds of vegetation-covered spoil heaps that dot the horizon. Find out more about the tin-mining industry in the museum at Wheal Martyn Clay Works (10 minutes). The site is also in the middle of the Cornwall Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty – a magnet for walkers and cyclists heading for the Neolithic moments and cairns on Bodmin Moor (35 minutes) or the dramatic cliffs and hidden coves along The Roseland Peninsula (25 minutes). Admission

Admission is only permitted after registering at reception.
All guests spending the night at the park must present their ID at the reception desk and sign registration forms.

Dogs

A valid vaccination certificate must accompany your dog.

General

Bookings are nominative and non-transferable.

Changes to your holiday

Bookings cannot be amended within 7 day(s) of arrival.

Vehicles

Commercial vehicles (vehicles used for work-related purposes, carrying goods or fare-paying passengers) and sign-written vehicles are not permitted on site.

Discount cards and gift vouchers cannot be applied to bookings made via Pitchup.com.

Dogs

Dogs must be kept on leads and supervised at all times.
