What customers say
A peaceful, well-kept spot with roomy, flat sites. Facilities are top-notch, especially the great showers. Friendly owner, handy honesty shop, and pretty rural setting. Some minor Wi-Fi/shower storage points, but most want to come back.

Well recommended especially for families and dog lovers!
Powered grass tent or trailer tent site
Liked Great site, middle of most of Cornwall, and very quiet place for camping. The manager is so polite and very accommodating, helping us and made sure we are all comfortable during our stay.
Site has most basic things you need and even has a freezer with logs for firepits, soaps, food, and ice lollies you can purchase (honesty box).
Showers, toilets and washing areas are well kept and clean. Dishwasher soaps were also available to use and you borrow bbq sets and mallets if you need one. People who uses the campsite are also great to interact with.
Will definitely book to go back next year with the family and possibly several friends.
Disliked Wifi is basic and slow coverage for phone & internet but that is what you expect for campsites so you can disconnect from the busy world.

This is a stunning family friendly campsite and we’ll be returning.
Unpowered grass tent site
Liked We loved everything about Penndra. Great clean facilities (WC/showers and wash up area). Completely family friendly with a huge area to let them run riot behind the tents.
It was peaceful and quiet, just the odd owl making noise during the night.
I know you can’t predict who is on site with you, but we had some lovely pleasant campers there while we were.
Rich couldn’t be more helpful with accommodating with our late arrival. He also went the extra mile when our tent going rogue in strong winds while we were offsite, with the help of a fellow camper.

Great site with fantastic facilities, amazing owners too.
Unpowered grass tent site
Liked Everything!!! The site was a dream with plenty of space given to each pitch and an abundance of play space. The site was about half full during our stay but it is easy to see that even when full the owners have thought about privacy over numbers which is a real treat, we are definitely going to return for a family holiday, and even looking into bringing our scout group for a camp.

Excellent site with clean facilities, friendly staff and level pitches
Unpowered grass tent site
Liked I loved staying at this campsite, and the mission behind it. Friendly, clean and well organised with amenities such as fridge and freezer which was appreciated.
Disliked Only thing was a funny smell in the fridge/freezer room but that didn't worry me too much.
There is not much phone signal- that was not a problem for me, and I enjoyed a break from the internet, but may be a problem if you need it!

Everything we needed from the moment…
Powered grass caravan site
Liked Everything we needed from the moment we arrived, most importantly Rich made sure we had the right pitch for us, a lovely quiet corner. Alfie (Collie) loved the dog walk where he could catch his ball off lead, he also liked meeting Norman and sharing one of his treats.
Disliked Nothing

Liked Loved this campsite. Me and my mum came for a week and we loved every moment. Great facilities. Clean toilets, hot showers. Very nature orientated with nice nature pond and walking fields. Plenty of wildlife about nestled away in a little valley away from hustle and bustle of life! Great position to explore Cornwall. Quick drive to Falmouth or Redruth. Hosts were lovely, so welcoming and enthusiastic about their campsite, very helpful with making sure we had everything we needed. I saw a few times the owner helping people set up with a caravan placement so very attentitive to customers! Dog friendly, campfire friendly, great for families! Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable!
