What customers say
Awesome staff, clean facilities & private pitches. Great spot for exploring, close to coast path & beaches. Food's a hit (esp. breakfast baps, pizzas). A few minor access/noise/limited off-peak facility comments.

Unpowered grass tent site
Liked Friendly staff, clean welcoming campsite, plenty of space to pitch up and kids to run around. Decent prices at the Shack and good little selection of items you end up needing throughout a stay.
Pitch felt very private and comfortable.
Musician was great at giving that "summer evening" vibe and was enjoyed from oldest to youngest.
Slip and Slide is a must do, was great fun.
Disliked Webstite suggests BBQs and campfires are allowed onsite but turned out upon checking that they weren't which made cooking difficult and had wasted money on a brand new BBQ I couldn't use.
Would have appreciated knowing that prior to arrival we could have prepared better.

Convenient, well-appointed, well-run site (not as rural as we hoped).
Powered concrete slab caravan site
Liked Lovely staff and a warm welcome. Level motorhome pitches and great to have shrubs/hedges between some of the pitches to improve privacy and reduce noise. Very clean, spacious and modern shower block with free hot showers and hairdryer. Very handy laundry room. Small shop/shack on site. Convenient for Eden project, Carlyon Beach, Lost Gardens of Heligan and many other local tourist attractions. Short walk (10-15mins) to beach/coastal path.
Disliked We prefer a more wild/rural feel and this site, while a farm, felt like it was within a fairly residential, built up area. As a result we could hear the main road and the surroundings weren’t as picturesque as we’d have hoped (our fault, we should have read more before booking).

Lovely little campsite in a great location
Powered concrete slab caravan site
Liked Quiet, pretty campsite with nice owners and good facilities. The onsite shop was small but well stocked and they served freshly cooked food. Shower block and toilets were clean and laundry was helpful. 9 mins cycle to the beach and close to Fowey and Charlestown.
Disliked Not much really. Had a problem with the our booking via Pitch Up but the manager sorted it out without issue which we were grateful for. Would definitely return and recommend.

Liked Friendly host. Shop and cafe on site.
Can walk to the beach from here.
Disliked Pitches are quite small and very close together.
Motor home pitch was between two hedges and had had no view.

From the manager: Thanks for the review - just so future guests can make there own decision on booking in the future - the pitch you stayed on is 18meters by 7m approx and is sheltered under a beautiful copper beach tree and surrounded by seasonal flowering hedges to offer privacy, however you get lovely sunshine and view to the west with the sunset.
All our pitches are designed to offer a degree of privacy and when booking our pitches are all different please see our site map to choose locations.
To give us a 5 out of 10 for a pitch, guests described as a honeymoon sweet only 2 weeks ago is ver disappointing and unfair.

Liked Beautiful camping spot with very friendly hosts and stuff. The camping shop is excellent with food and all the necessary things available. We also loved the pond - my daughter enjoyed the fairy walk and the story telling session. Thank you! Will definitely return one day.

Liked We had a lovely stay at the campsite and really enjoyed our time here. We particularly liked the private pitches, which gave us plenty of space and privacy. The campsite was very clean, with lots of greenery and a lovely, peaceful atmosphere.
The friendly and welcoming atmosphere made us feel very comfortable, and we also appreciated how safe and secure the campsite felt. Overall, a great place to relax and enjoy time with the family. We would definitely come back!
