If you’re looking for a budget tourer option on your upcoming Cornish jaunt, the pop-up Calamazag Plant Nursery may suit you down to the ground. It’s five minutes’ drive from the pretty fishing village of Looe, giving you a choice of beaches and coastal towns to explore.
There are flat, spacious grass spaces for campervans or motorhomes with Cornish countryside views. The llama paddock is right next door, so you’ll have plenty to keep you amused during your stay. The pitches are adjacent to the plant sales area, which has a small high-quality café cabin serving barista coffee, artisan drinks, cakes, sandwiches and toasties as well as ice cream and Cornish cream teas.
This is a back-to-basics park up. You will need to be in a vehicle that is self-sufficient as there are no showers, electricity or toilet waste facilities on site. The only facilities available are a portable loo and drinking water. There is a bus stop a short walk away if you’re happy to explore the area by public transport.

Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.- The campground/park does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act (i.e. Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro) and/or any of the following: Staffordshire bull terrier, American Staffordshire terrier, Rottweiler, any Mastiff or Tosa.
- Tents are not accepted at this park.
- Guests are advised to bring a good quality torch with them as parts of the campground/park are unlit.
- No gas barbecues allowed.
- No charcoal barbecues allowed.
- No electric barbecues allowed.
- Please note that the toilet facilities are unisex.
