What customers say
Peaceful off-grid spot with cracking River Fal views. Owners super friendly, short walk to pubs/shops. Basic portaloos clean (recent reviews). Older review noted sloping field. Track tricky for big vehicles. Great value for short, budget stays.

No frills, good price, but the loo could definitely be better.
Unpowered grass motorhome site
Liked The view, how quiet it was, the availability and the price. It was great for a last minute night away.
Disliked The one portaloo was stinking. Maybe dig a long drop next year? Or have the loo emptied more often?

Excellent spot!
Unpowered grass motorhome site
Liked Very spacious quiet field with amazing views down over Mylor Creek to the Carrick Roads. We enjoyed six very happy days here. We easily cycled the kilometre into Mylor Bridge for shopping and the excellent pub, and the 2.5 km to Mylor Yacht Harbour where we kept our small boat for the week.
The Portaloo was clean and there is now a water tap, plus bins and a good phone signal. Everything we needed!
The very friendly and hospitable owners Beth and Steve are clearly working hard to develop this new site and I wish them every success.
Disliked Nothing to dislike.
My only point of information would be that the entrance track could be a little bit steep and awkward for some larger vehicles. Our extra long wheelbase Boxer panel van conversion was fine, but might have struggled for traction in wet conditions. A larger motor home with long overhangs might find it tight, but perhaps no more so than Cornish lanes in general.

Unpowered grass motorhome site
Liked Gorgeous view
Friendly team with local recommendations
Large field with lots of space (was quiet when we visited)
Very peaceful - road at bottom of field but far away and screened completely by trees, heard minimal traffic
Easy to get into the village via a private lane from the field
Lovely area - pub, village shops, amenities, creek walks
Well priced stay, clearly signposted, relaxed site
Disliked Not a problem as mentioned clearly before booking but limited facilities (portaloo, water tap and bins only)
Field fairly sloped, though some parts looked quite level - no problem if you've got ramps for campervan

Très bien au vu du prix, une amélioration sanitaire est possible
Unpowered grass tent or trailer tent site

Disliked The campsite is very difficult to reach. The access road to the field is in very poor condition. Deep gullies! The underside of our camper is damaged as a result

Unpowered grass tent or trailer tent site
Liked I had a lovely stay here. The campsite is simple and off-grid, but that's exactly what makes it so peaceful and affordable. The views across the river are gorgeous, and the owners were friendly and very accommodating. It is only a 10 minute walk to the local pub and village shop, with plenty of beautiful beaches and attractions only a short drive away.
