Unpowered grass tent site

Liked: A great camping site. Beautiful setting. Owners welcoming. Took the time to show our children the animals. Communal kitchen great. Would definitely recommend

Disliked: My only complaint would be that they don't have the facility to leave bagged up rubbish there when you leave.

Unpowered grass tent site

Liked: Absolutely lovely site! Spacious and relaxed, brilliant for animal lovers. I loved waking up to the pig, goats, chickens and horses. The price was great and loos and showers very clean. Showers were also really powerful and hot which we loved! We didn’t bring children this time but it was clearly an ideal place for them. Kitchen area was useful when our stove wouldn’t work - kettle and lots of other bits available. Logs and eggs also available for purchase which was great. Owners were super friendly and helpful. Site was easy to find and well signposted, we also felt comfortable coming and going, we were left to do as we liked but also checked in on so the balance was perfect. Would definitely stay again if in the area!

Unpowered grass tent site

Liked: Pitches were intimate, but enabled privacy. Great addition to include picnic benches and a fire pit with each pitch too. Having some farm animals, as well as eggs and logs for sale was a bonus. Toilets and showers were clean and practical.

Disliked: Being very picky, but the clips holding the shower heads in place had become detached. This meant on our last morning that we had to hold the head to shower. Very minor issue and an easy fix.

Liked: - not too big and overcrowded, easy to keep private or get friendly wih other campers, whatever you prefer - very friendly people who runs it and can recommend also where to go to see local attractions - good toilet/shower/washing up facilities - lovely small farm with animals - my children loved feeding and petting them, collecting eggs, spending time learning about farming - very safe, children could run around free - few coops nearby to supply on food/drink etc - all you need for a camping retreat

Unpowered grass tent site

Liked: The site was great for kids and their parents. Our children were able to have fun with the animals on their own whilst close to the camp. The facilities were clean. We were able to choose our own pitches and have car next to tent. Each pitch had its own bench and fire pit. The view was lovely too. Lovely, friendly owners who were great to chat with.

Disliked: The sign to the campsite wasn't very clear.
