  • Large, family-friendly touring park on Seal Bay Resort
  • A 10-minute walk to the sea and a 20-minute drive from Chichester
  • Includes access to facilities at nearby parks (shuttle bus provided)
Here's a cracking Sussex spot – with 11 acres of flat grassy grounds to its name, Warner Farm Touring Park is located on the southern tip of Selsey Bill. Both the centre of village of Selsey and the Solent coast are under a mile away, and a host of top-notch leisure activities are available nearby. The friendly folk who run this place have teamed up with neighbouring sites so that guests have free access to a wide range of facilities (bars, restaurants, kids' clubs, pools and a gym are all on the cards). Whether you're looking to get a sweat on, indulge in a soak or simply sunbathe by the pool, a handy shuttle bus is provided free of charge to chauffeur you around. (Please note, though, that your motorhome/campervan will need to stay in place at Warner Farm, and not be driven between the parks.) In addition to these perks, RSPB Medmerry Nature Reserve is located right next door, making it even easier to relax and unwind: make tracks here for marshland walks, cycle trails and spectacular seaside views. Facilities-wise, there's no need to venture far for the essentials: showers, toilets (including family washrooms and baby changing), charging points and a laundry room are all provided on site. Furry friends are welcome at Warner Farm Touring Park, as are barbecues. Pubs and a nifty local food shop are a 10-minute walk away.

What customers say

Great family spot with friendly staff & clean facilities. Pools, playgrounds & beach access are winners. Some found pitches a bit close, with occasional noise. On-site activities/food can be pricey. Still, many want to come back.

2 bedroom safari tent

Liked -we stayed in the Safari tents which were very clean and in good condition

-toilet/shower block was a short walk from tents and was very clean

-ladies ar Warner Touring reception were very kind and helpful

-site security who showed us to our tent was very kind and welcoming

-the safari tents were roomy with sink, induction hob and fridge

-safari tents come with a little welcome pack with cleaning essentials

-swimming pool access was included in the booking, the flumes and lazy river kept two 12 year old entertained for an hour or so

-nice playground and sports pitch one minute's walk from safari tents

-easy access to beach from main Seal Bay resort, lovely sunsets

Disliked - shower water was a little cooler for my preference although I appreciate I am always cold!

-The shop on site was about a 15/20 minute walk away from the tents (as far as we are aware)

-After paying for our trip, the confirmation email stated we would have access to the entertainment/fleisure facilities, we thought that would include the surfing simulator but that is a seperate £25 per session

-due to booking with a site outside Seal Bay resort official site, I was unable to access the app due to not having a compatible booking code and so could not easily book/see programmes for entertainment and leisure

-was some dog mess observed on site

-safari tents would benefit from some hook to hang bags or clothes on as the main storage was shelves which were quite small and shallow

-food options were mostly fried foods/not great for someone on a low saturates diet

Fully-serviced gravel and concrete motorhome site

Liked Super friendly staff. Had lots of activities to do for the kids (aged 14 and 10).

Clean site with staff regularly changing bins and clean washing facilities.

Great value for money fair ground ride area (£15 per person for the whole day allowed you to use the rides as many times as you wanted through the day).

Disliked One slight negative - some of the activities (crazy golf) which is located where the evening entertainment and bar/restuarant is located shut early (7pm). I would have thought it would stay open later in the summer months.

If I was nit picking, the entertainment area was too far away from when the touring area (where we were located)-around a 15 min walk. There is a free bus that runs every 30 mins, but we always seen to miss it. Like I said, this is being ultra critical and wouldn't put us off from returning - which we will be!

Liked The staff were friendly and did try and help situation us not being pitched together but it did ruin our holiday not being together and our group left after the first night. We were due 3 nights.

Disliked Despite asking to be group
Together with babies (group
Of 3 families with 1 and 3 year olds) we were all kept separate. Other groups together.
A festival was on until 11:30pm with big bass music - no mention of this on booking or we would have avoided those dates.
Unsavoury people looking in out tent and we felt very vulnerable.

Liked Teresa in reception, super accommodating and helpful when wanting to change pitch.

Disliked A obnoxious festival going on, on the Saturday night right in the field behind up, travelling as a party with small children, so no sleep was had until it finished as the base was soooo deep and music soooo loud. Wasn’t made aware of this when booking.Disliked kids riding at full speed around the site on mini motorbikes, one rode straight into friends tent where her children were staying. Disliked the smell of weed and also disliked that we requested pitches together/next to each other and we all separated.

Liked Clean and tidy pitch. Good clean toilet/shower facilities.

Disliked Pitch was close to fairground so was noisey. It was also a 20 minute walk to the food court which was overpriced with unhelpful staff. Was not easy to purchase a tea or coffee and when we did manage to the drinks were awful.

Liked 25 minutes from Goodwood
15 minutes walk to the beach
5 mins drive from a RSPB reserve
Plenty of activities for children. Swimming pool included in price of your stay.
2 main complexs to choose from.
Friendly and accommodating staff
Reasonable prices for food and drink in the restaurants.

Disliked As everyone else has said, the pitches are small with no privacy. Noise travels across the campsite easily, however as soon as 11pm hit, most campers were respectful.

There was a festival going on the Friday night, behind our tent. Festival goers who weren't staying at the campsite were allowed to walk through it. This raised concerns of safety and something that needs to be addressed by the resort for next time.

On the same night the gentlemens toilets were vandalised, we aren't sure whether it was related to the festival or campers.

Lack of things on the campsite for children to do, however we were only 2 min walk to a outside play area. States "no ball games" but yet we saw countless kids with footballs knocking around.

Local attractions

Fancy a day at the races? The Goodwood Estate (25 minutes' drive) plays host to heaps of horsey action alongside regular motor racing festivals and concerts. If you feel like having a go in the saddle yourself, the stables in nearby West Wittering (25 minutes) are well-placed for beachfront canters. History buffs will find much to keep them busy around these parts: the cathedral city of Chichester is 20 minutes away, as is Fishbourne Roman Palace, the largest Roman villa excavated in Britain. For further regal residences, head to Arundel (half an hour) and the town's stunning castle and gardens. For naval history, the Mary Rose Museum in Portsmouth (35 minutes) should be just the ticket. Portsmouth is also home to more contemporary attractions: Gunwharf Quays shopping outlet is a fab spot to bag designer labels at a discount price, while the Spinnaker Tower's lofty viewing platform has spectacular vistas over the harbour, the sea and the nearby Isle of Wight. Worthing (50 minutes) is another coastal spot that's well worth the trip: energetic visitors might fancy hiking up the country's largest hill fort at Cissbury Ring, while genteel types may prefer a leisurely stroll along the pier.
