Liked: Lovely host (Rachel), beautiful, quiet location. Massive pitches, and fire pits were allowed which was great. Good 4g signal in the field. We had no near neighbours as there were only about 7 vans on the large field. Portaloos were basic but clean.
Disliked: Grass was quite long, not really a problem but it made it difficult to find a level pitch so it will be good to come back once the pitches are topped.

Liked: Peaceful, relaxing, quiet, just what we needed. Fantastic views across the valley. Beautiful sunset Will definately book again. It is remote, only porta loos and a water standpipe and a field but that’s what we love Miles away from anything - walk to the local pub would be an ordeal back as up a very steep hill You can buy a bag of logs at Woods sawmill before the farm yard at £3.50 a bag but you will need cash and a fire pit
Disliked: The road in is very uneven but it is an unmade track and expected

Liked: Fabulous little no frills site, perfect for self sufficient motorhomes and campervans. Firepits are allowed, dogs are welcome. Rachel the new manager is super friendly, and accommodating with great communication. Will be going back frequently.
Disliked: Drive up to the site was a bit rough on our 21 year old motorhome so had to take it super slow. For some reason they’ve fenced off access to the woods which are legally free to wonder in, seems a tad mean, but i suppose it’s because it’s owned by Goodwood. Could easily have put a gate in, as there’s always been a gate there previously.

Liked: Remote location with fantastic night sky(no light pollution). Rachael was absolutely a fantastic host, dropped off fire pit and wood. On-site portaloos were in good clean order with air fresheners and hand gel, nice touch. Easy access to South Downs path and only a short walk into village and the pub, the Star and Garter where a very warm welcome, good beer awaited.

Liked: Wonderful stay in a magical location. Rachel was the perfect host delivering a fire pit and logs to my tent. The night sky was spectacular and the walks through the forest invigorating.

Liked: Beautiful view, very clean porta-loos, quiet area, good communication from campsite manager. Great for walkers or those that want a remote location with a beautiful view over the Downs.
Disliked: These are not dislikes really, because it’s a wild camping experience, but be aware there are no showers, not currently the ability to dispose of grey waste or toilet waste. Phone signal is not good at places on the site. There is a very rough track leading to the site.
