What customers say
Cedar Gables is a tidy, family-friendly camp with clean loos and hot showers. Spacious sites, helpful staff, and handy for Bewl Water. Road noise from A21 and sloped sites are noted. Kids love the playground. Pizza's available evenings.

Great small campsite if prefer quiet basic outdoor trips
Powered grass tent or trailer tent site
Liked Small intimate campsite which kept the facilities clean and meant the children all made friends playing in the play park you can see from your pitch.
Disliked The tent was on a hill so at times we couldn’t keep things from easily falling over in our tent but that can’t be helped!

We loved this site! We will be back for sure
Powered grass tent or trailer tent site
Liked The site is small which is nice and you can pick your pitch (depending on what is free - we arrived when it was practically empty so got our pick!) staff are so friendly and helpful and always available. The toilets and showers are always clean and there is hot water! The 50p shower situation is great as you don’t have to spend the whole time pressing those awful concussion taps. The shower pressure is good, water is hot and there is decent space to get changed after. There is also a wooden mat to use so you don’t get covered in grass. It’s a great site and we will definitely come back! We used it as a base for Bewl Water which is 5 mins drive away.
Disliked The only thing is the hairdryer is a bit rubbish but I always bring my own anyway! Road noise too but that can’t be helped because of where it is!

Overall pleasant and would come again
Powered grass tent or trailer tent site
Liked Friendly and helpful . Very clean toilets but only 2 ladies toilets, which was ok when the site was quiet but assume could be a problem at busy times.
Disliked Field is very sloping. Location on A21 makes walking anywhere difficult, except Bewl Water which is on a path.

Powered grass tent or trailer tent site
Liked Everything. Camp site was clean and well maintained. Showers were hot and the play area for the kids whilst small allowed them to make friends whilst they waited which lead to more fun and games. Bewl water down the road, a day trip in its own right and Bedgebury park/wood is awesome! Don’t get hung up on the road noise comments in others reviews, it’s absolutely fine.

The stay was amazing.
Powered grass tent or trailer tent site
Liked For my first time camping with the family, it was a big enough space with enough amenities for the kids to enjoy. The host was really helpful also with our electric hookup. It was an easy place to find and very well located.
Disliked The shower situation could be better. There could be a family changing room/ shower which would have been better for us all.

Overall a fab stay
Unpowered grass tent or trailer tent site
Liked Great location, and quiet camp site. Friendly staff, clean facilities and a play area so our toddlers loved it. We took their bikes as well as plenty of space to have a run around. Close to Bewl water and a little drive to camber sands. Lots to do. Will definitely go back.
Disliked Didn’t dislike anything. Noticed some complaints about the road noise in past reviews, it is a busier road, but didn’t keep us up in the night, and not really that noticeable once you get used to it so not an issue for us.

Unpowered grass tent or trailer tent site
Liked The whole site was clean, including showers, toilets and kitchen area. Good size pitches at a good price. Friendly family run campsite and great for families looking for a small site.
Disliked It's right near the A21 which is great for getting to places but it can be noisy mid week during early mornings. This is obviously not the campsites fault but some people may not like it.
