From the manager: What a load of rubbish as a review If you were unhappy why the hell did you not say We have some communal facility and some private If you were not happy you should have said Note you won’t recommend us and won’t come again Just as well because I would have something to say to you You would not be welcome Just look at our reviews Also I must remind you we are a CL not a holiday camp Note your review was signed anonymous Have not had the guts to put a name I would also put it on record we are struggling because of the ground and wet weather I am seething with your comments Grossly unfair Norman Coles

Liked: It's a beautiful setting. A working farm with wonderful rare breeds. It was lambing season, so we saw some sweet little lambs. Guy, the manager is fabulous. Informative, helpful, funny and obviously passionate about what he does.

From the manager: many thanks, glad you enjoyed your stay. Are you sure it was Guy you saw and not me? Fabulous, informative helpful, funny, passionate and good looking. When I was younger I was once told I looked a little like Robert Redford. joking apart thanks for your kind words and glad you enjoyed your stay. Norman

Liked: Lovely scenery, the coos😊 and the staff! Unfortunately we didn't get to stay at Roundoak as it was actually closed for the bank holiday, despite Pitchup letting us book. However, the campsite manager, Guy, phoned me to say they could accommodate us at their sister site, Kings Oak and gave me helpful directions. This was very welcome as we had just come off the ferry at Dover after having travelled from France. We had a lovely evening at Kings Oak and couldn't thank Guy enough for his hospitality. He couldn't have been more helpful and we'd love to return, hopefully to experience Roundoak next time.

Liked: Fabulous little site. We were on our own being so early in season. Owners and manager couldn't have been more lovely. It is a working farm and is perfect without an over abundance of facilities. You have all you need with the tranquility to match. Will be returning

From the manager: Thanks for your comments. Can’t do anything about the road I am afraid! Being a little of the beaten track makes this Maidstone’s best kept secret Norman
