Liked: Absolutely love this site, it’s beautiful, well kept and friendly. All facilities are excellent, nice touch having the cafe and shop on site, love that they leave the field area clear so we’re able to use it, just perfect! We booked an extra night we loved it so much. It’s great that you can walk directly into the acres of pea land surrounding for dog walking, stunning at sunrise and sunset! Was nice we got to choose our pitch too. Really friendly family run site.

Disliked: Spiders in the toilets (can’t be helped haha!)

Liked: Great location to tour the South East coast of Kent plus Channel tunnel. Lots of nearby shops, restaurants and supermarkets. Owners were friendly and facilities clean and site was quiet.

Disliked: Not being able to park next to our caravan was not great and impractical. The shower cubicles were small and the water didn't drain that well, so all the floor was wet when trying to get dressed. No recycling onsite.

Local attractions

The Kent coast is full of varied things to do: there’s birdspotting at RSPB Dungeness (10 minutes’ drive) for those looking for something a bit different from classic bucket-and-spade days, while Camber Sands’ beach and dunes (15 minutes) are on hand just down the road for those in the mood for ice creams, fish and chips or a dip in the sea. To spend more time outdoors, you could head off for a round or two at Lydd Golf Club (five minutes) or take the family off for the day to Port Lympne Reserve (25 minutes), a safari park surrounded by gorgeous green countryside. To keep the kids busy, there's more to see and do a little further down the coast at the Shipwreck Museum (40 minutes), while those on grownup getaways can get away for a bit of retail therapy at Ashford's designer outlets (20 minutes). Admission

Admission is only permitted after registering at reception.
At least one of the party members must be aged 18 or over.

General

Ball games are not permitted.

Safety

Barbecues are permitted but must be raised off the ground and attended by an adult at all times.

Changes to your holiday

Bookings cannot be amended within 30 day(s) of arrival.

Vehicles

Commercial vehicles (vehicles used for work-related purposes, carrying goods or fare-paying passengers) and sign-written vehicles are not permitted on site.

Dogs

Dogs are not allowed if you are staying in the accommodation units.
Dogs are prohibited from main facilities and amenities.
Dogs must be kept on leads and supervised at all times.

Safety

Firearms are not permitted.

Occupancy

Group bookings of 1 or more units (e.g. tent, caravan, motorhome or accommodation hire) travelling together are not permitted via Pitchup.com.

Quiet hours must be respected between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m..
Radio, music and TV players must be kept at a low volume. Car doors and boots must be closed quietly.

Reception

Reception is open from 9 a.m. to noon and from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. between 01/01 and 31/12.

Occupancy

Single-sex bookings of 4 or more people (couples and immediate family members excepted) are not permitted via Pitchup.com.
The campground/park caters for families (immediate members) and couples only - bookings from all other forms of groups are not accepted.

Dogs

The campground/park does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dog Act (i.e. Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro).

General

The campground/park is not liable for any refund in the event of force majeure.

The campground/park will send you further check-in information 2 day(s) before your arrival.

Hired accommodation

The damage/cleanliness/bracelet deposit required on arrival can only be paid for in cash.

General

The management reserves the right to deny access or terminate the stay of those guests whose behaviour is deemed unsuitable. No refunds will be offered.
