Unpowered grass campervan site

Liked: Friendly and helpful staff. Clean facilities. Lots of mirrors which you don’t find at most sites. Eco friendly. Great choice of games and activities.

Disliked: Steep hill down to the facilities, didn’t bother me but maybe not a site for those that are not as physical. Drinking water only from taps in shallow sinks which made it hard to fill up anything but small bottles. Surrounding by trees and nature but a shame to hear motorway traffic in the background.

Unpowered grass campervan site

Liked: As it was just after the summer holidays, it was very quiet but just what I needed, so peaceful and tranquil with just the squirrels and birds for company. I loved the rustic compost loos and washing up stations, all in a beautiful setting and I hope to go back next summer when the reiki and yoga classes are on.

Liked: This is a lovely little campsite, with the environment at heart. There are compost loos, showers, yoga, massage, sauna and plunge pool on a Saturday available. Really lovely sunset from here and fire pits also available Nothing not to like

Unpowered grass tent site

Liked: A well considered and natural place to spend the weekend camping. The toilets were well looked after and the showers were great. The environment was relaxed, with a variety of spaces for camping as singletons or larger groups. I didn't try the morning yoga sessions or the weekend coffee and pizza vans but they were well received by other campers. A great place for a short camping trip that is less than an hour's drive from south west London.

Disliked: The main camping area is quite slopey which made everything slightly unlevel...cooking tables, sleeping matts, football games, etc.

Unpowered grass tent site

Liked: What a lovely trip! The site was well organised and in a beautiful setting. The toilets, although typical for composting toilets, were well-maintained and well stocked. The owner was very friendly and helpful and the games and facilities available were great fun. My 7 year old particularly loved the fairy woods and the rope swing. The 'extra' activities were well received, especially the weekend coffee van and Saturday evening fresh pizza! Delicious. We will definitely be returning as soon as we can!

Disliked: Showers were a bit temperamental, but the owner was attentive in assisting, and who really wants to shower when camping anyway! :D

Bell tent

Liked: The showers and loos. The hosts and available items to borrow. The bell tents were enormous!

Disliked: The noisy people who returned from the pub after midnight.

Bell tent

Liked: Everything - the campsite is such a beautiful place with woodland for shade and exploration, and big open spaces for games, fire pits, play equipment - it has it all. People can even choose to camp in the woods. Will and Rachel are perfect hosts. What really impressed me is that they stay on site, and enforce a very reasonable noise curfew (if needed). And at the weekends in summer there's an ice cream van, pizza oven, yoga, sauna - all fantastic
