For the money, can't really be beaten.
Unpowered grass and earth tent site (woodland)
Liked Old school back to basics camping. Low cost. Campfires allowed on pits by woodland camping. Owner just lets you get on with it, not constantly patrolling. Don't have to buy logs like at other campsites. Facilities seemed pretty good, didn't really pay much attention as it's not a big deal to me, toilet blocks were clean though. Pound for pound, a top notch campsite.

Liked Lovely pitch, really good shower, friendly host. We stayed in the woodland pitch which gave nice shelter from both the sun and the wind in such a hot day.

My tip would be to bring ear plugs if the sound of a cockerel might keep you awake 😊
Would highly recommend.

The rooster... He thought it was morning all day and all night! 😄 (Just joking, of course – it is a farm after all
Disliked The only thing we’d improve: a slightly smoother access road – but that’s part of the countryside charm!" 😊
