Liked: This was my second visit to Ouse meadow and from the first contact with Neil you know you'll be in good hands. The pitches are well spaced out so you have your privacy and not over crowded. Me and my son enjoyed exploring the beautiful surrounding area. There is a ping pong table, football table and hammocks to use. Fire wood and fire pit available at a good price so you can enjoy a fire well into the night. The toilets are clean and in perfect working order. The site is peaceful and has a wilde camping feel to it. I really enjoyed camping here and will definitely be back.
Disliked: Nothing

Liked: Wild camping simple spacious, beautiful skys, bird songs , private lovely walks , great pub and loved the railway. If you're looking for magnificent scenery this is not for you , it is rambling quiet and gentle. Do lots of dog walking in fields, to a heritage garden, ride the beautiful Bluebell historic railway or just sit around the campfire chatting. I've thoroughly loved staying here and will do so again
Disliked: The river Ouse is sweet as it meanders through the site but not really for swimming

Liked: Great friendly atmosphere, very welcoming! Very spacious pitch, with everything you needed! Owners were more than helpful, nothing was a problem! All facilities were clean. Plenty of space for the little ones to run and play, with nice even pitches. Very well maintained & a lovely location too! Would definitely return again!

Liked: Beautiful location, well tended facilities and a friendly welcome. Occasionally hearing the steam whistles from the Bluebell Railway across the road was icing on the cake!
Disliked: Intermittent phone signal but that’s the joy of wild camping!

Liked: Location was perfect! Across the road from a brewery and loads of things to do a short drive away. Facilities were great and all clean, and there was separate fields for different groups of people (we were in an adult only field which was perfect for us). Owner was so friendly and helpful and sold us wood and rented a firepit to us for a reasonable price. The field we were on was flat with some tree coverage round the edge and soft (but not muddy) ground.

Liked: Clean, peaceful, not busy when we stayed, easy to find. Owner was helpful and nice to deal with. We do not stay in the same place twice but clicked we would, as saying that we would not, could come across as negative- and we did have a positive experience and were accidently lucky to see northern lights during our stay, which was amazing.
