Liked: Great facilities and view, clean area.
Disliked: The camping spot is at a hill and not accessible by car, so kit is hard to carry up. But cart is provided

From the manager: Thanks for your review. We try to be clear in the campsite details on Pitchup that this is not a site where you can camp next to your car and that the pitches are up a steep hillside. This is so it's not a surprise to campers when they turn up. This is what Pitchup wrote for us ,which is in the site info : "Cars are kept away from the pitches too, so you’ll start your stay by walking your gear a short distance along a grassy path between the Christmas trees on the steep Lakeland hillside to find your choice of level grass pitch"
Our favourite place in the lakes for an easy and great priced night!

Unpowered grass tent site
Liked: Great compost loo, porta loo and normal indoor toilet. Great warm shower and outdoor warm shower. Lovely hosts who show you everything you need to know! Beautiful view. Logs available to buy. Everyone has a fire pit!
Disliked: Nothing to do with the campsite, but be wary you can hear cars on the A road beneath the site through the evening and night. That being said, this is good in some ways as a local services is only about 300m from the campsite so great if you forget any supplies.
